We’re so honored by @Lex_Politica’s Chambers recognition after just 4 months of existence. Beyond grateful to the best clients in the industry for the opportunity to be part of your team. I can’t imagine how this gets better, but I’m going to figure it out and make it happen.

TWELVE DAYS. If you need a brief break from politics, I'd encourage you to check out my friend and fellow @mujschool grad @BradOnMessage's "The What For". Thankful for your voice, Brad. We're praying for you! bradleytodd.substack.com/
These two, Bill Clinton and @davidjollyfl have some interesting things in common, don’t you agree @ChrisPack716?
BIG NEWS: President Bill Clinton is traveling to FLORIDA to campaign for @davidjollyfl, as the state's governor's race has become an unexpected dead heat. The former president will join Jolly at an evening interfaith event in Hollywood on Oct. 20th. ms.now/news/midterms-2026-fl…
This win reminds me that when everyone everywhere tells you that you are about to get your teeth kicked in, sometimes you do, but sometimes you don’t. 🐊🧡💙🇺🇸 #gogators #17days #Midterms2026

@JessFurst joined seven other experts in @nytimes to comment on election security.
"There is certainly reason to be concerned about election security, especially when considering electronic voting systems, unsupervised drop boxes, foreign interference, jurisdictions unwilling to implement voter identification and the like. But potential vulnerabilities don’t mean elections will necessarily be compromised, just that we need to work harder to ensure elections are fair."

🚨New: Mike Rogers destroys Abdul El-Sayed
Rogers: “Abdul can't condemn Hamas. He can't condemn the Muslim Brotherhood”
El-Sayed: “Mike does own a home in Florida!”
Rogers: “Abdul owns a home in the United Arab Emirates! At least Florida’s in the U.S.”
With Merritt McAlister officially at the helm of @UFLaw, the future of the law school is in the most capable of hands. So very proud to know this excellent innovator, leader, barrister, professor and friend, and so grateful she's our Dean. @UFLawDean, thank you for your patience and for your dedication to the University of Florida. Huge news from SCOTUS today. Thanks to the @RNC for the opportunity to weigh in on such a critical case.
The U.S. Supreme Court has recalled and stayed the Fourth Circuit's ruling in NRCC v. Brown. As a result, political ads funded by joint fundraising and party committees remain eligible for the lowest unit charge through this election season.
Lex Politica filed an amicus brief supporting the stay on behalf of the Republican National Committee and several major media buying organizations, arguing that the Fourth Circuit lacked jurisdiction and misread the Communications Act, with First Amendment implications.
Congratulations to Lex Politica's Erin Hawley, joined by @dwpolio, @JVLinDC, and Anna Mackin.
Congratulations to Sydney Gruters!
Floridians just chose a Trump-endorsed fighter, working mom & native Floridian to lower the cost of living, secure the border & put families first.
Remember to VOTE for @SydneyGrutersFL in the General Election on Tuesday, November 3.
‘“You take the endorsement away, and you take her husband away, and she’s just a soccer mom,” Pope said of Gruters.’
I can’t remember the last time I was this mad.
@edPope4Congress, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I’ve known and worked with @SydneyGrutersFL for 23 years now. I’ve watched her make sacrifice after sacrifice to serve her community. I’ve listened to her worry about whether her job was keeping her from spending enough time with her kids. I’ve celebrated when she helped accomplish big wins for the congressional districts and constituents she served. And I prayed with her when she was trying to discern whether God was calling her to run to serve FL-16.
How dare you attempt to reduce her effort, her success, her strength, and her love of her community, her country, and her family to elevate your failing congressional campaign. How disgusting for you, a father of daughters, to attribute her record of achievement to her husband.
She is an INCREDIBLE soccer mom. Proud to be one, in fact. You should see her kids on the field! But, as is true of all “soccer moms”, she’s so much more than that. She’s a hard worker, a smart strategist, and an excellent communicator, and she’ll be a tireless advocate for families, veterans like you, and small businesses in FL-16 when she’s sworn into congress in January.
Mr. Pope, it’s comments like this, and men like you, that give purpose and energy to the movement to elect incredible women to congress. Sydney - let’s do this. We’re behind you all the way. 🇺🇸⚽️❤️

Fun to talk with @Berkemeyer_Drew about the downstream effects (thus far) of NRSC v FEC and the impact on the 2026 cycle.
There’s been a lot of chatter about the cash advantage the Republicans enjoy right now, so I sat down with some top legal experts from @Lex_Politica to discuss the future of campaign finance and what’s going on in the Democratic party.

.@olivegarden’s unlimited pasta pass shouldn’t be more secure than America’s federal elections.
It only is because Swamp Democrats NEED fraud to win.
False. False. False.
This case had nothing to do with money in politics. This case was decided on pure First Amendment grounds, and results in stronger party committees, on both the right and the left. Read the opinion.
This talking point is tired. Especially for campaign finance lawyers on the right that have to beg for funding to bring these important cases, while the left has plenty of "billionaires" happy to write checks at the drop of a hat.
Huge, massive shout out to Ryan Dollar for pushing for NRSC v FEC. His creativity in the #campaignfinance law space is unparalleled.

Bears repeating....this case is NOT about money in politics. No change to contribution limits, and no more money in the ecosystem. Parties can now take the money they already had and spend it in coordination with their candidates. This is the very functionality that definitionally separates party committees from outside groups. A return to order!
As we await SCOTUS's decision in NRSC v FEC, a clarifying note: despite the left's attempts to create a contrary narrative, this case is not about Super PACs, it's not about Elon Musk. It's not even about more money in politics. (1/2) nytimes.com/2026/02/10/us/po…
Today marks a major turning point for political speech in America. For years, federal law irrationally treated coordination between political parties and their own candidates as suspect, subjecting parties to an unfair restriction on First Amendment speech, and limiting information flow to voters. The Supreme Court correctly recognized those restrictions as unconstitutional, strengthening the marketplace of ideas, and restoring order to our political ecosystem. Make no mistake – this is a win for voters and the electorate at large.
Fun to chat all things #SCOTUS and campaign finance with @ASwoyer. Will this be the week for NRSC v FEC or Watson v RNC? Opinions expected Thursday....stay tuned! #electionlaw
Thanks to @JessFurst and @ishapiro for highlighting some of the top Supreme Court cases this term for my podcast “Court Watch.” We’re awaiting decisions in about 10 key disputes expected to come in the next 6 weeks or so.
