Yeaterday I was telling my son how he will always have a piece of my heart. I told him that he’s one-third of my heart and that I will love him forever because he will always be a part of me. He knows that his older brother and my boyfriend make up the other two-thirds. Then he asked me, “Why aren’t you a third?” I was confused, so I asked him what he meant. He said, “You should save a part of your heart for yourself so you can love yourself every single day, too.” And just like that, he brought tears to my eyes 🥹 I had never really thought about it that way. We spend so much of our lives giving our love to the people who mean the most to us that sometimes we forget to save a little for ourselves. So here’s your reminder, from a child who understands more than he probably realizes: You deserve a place in your own heart, too. Love your family. Love your friends. Love the people who make your world a better place. But please, don’t forget to love yourself along the way ❤️

What was the VERY FIRST concert you ever went to? 🎶

I haven’t been to a concert in about 8 years, and while I would’ve loved to see an artist of my own choosing, I just bought tickets to take my youngest son to see his favorite artist! I even splurged on the full VIP package so he can meet him! Honestly, knowing how much this experience is going to mean to my son makes it so much more worth it. Sometimes, seeing your kids happy is better than anything you could do for yourself ❤️

Back when I was in the dating scene, I went on a date with someone, it was not a good date. We met for drinks at a restaurant in the King of Prussia Mall, and this dude seemed way more interested in watching the game than actually talking to me. When the bartender asked if we wanted another drink, he hesitated before finally saying, “Um, sure.” The date ended pretty quickly, but then he told me his car was right outside and asked if he could drive me to mine. I said I was fine, but he kept insisting. I finally told him no for what felt like the fifth time, and he finally left. At the time, I genuinely thought I’d just narrowly escaped being murdered 😂 Now that I’m older, I’m thinking he probably just wanted to get me alone to see if he could get a blowy or something 🤣

You’re seeing the people celebrating their profits, not the ones who lost their savings chasing the same dream. Be smart with your money. Save it. Invest wisely. Good Monday! I’m running on about 4 hours of sleep, but I survived my party days, so I think I can handle a little Monday exhaustion 😂 Remember, you don’t have to feel 100% to show up and make the most of your day. Some days, just showing up is a win 😉
