#Binance hack,
everyone panicking…
relax, little grasshopper.
That’s butterfly’s🦋 pee 💦 next to Binance’s reserves.
With Binance, it’s nothing.
Proof of Reserves shows backing above 100% on the main client assets.
Hundreds of thousands of bitcoins sit in verifiable cold wallets. Binance covered it with the #SAFU fund and its own resources. Part of what was taken has already been frozen by Tether.
In a traditional bank, you don’t see the deposit: fractional reserve, periodic balance sheet, no public verification. Here the backing is on-chain and checkable. Operational risk exists in the hot wallets , this episode, which wasn’t the first, won’t be the last and CEX should always be prepared to handle this kind of situation.
But Binance moves more than $50 billion every 24 hours and earns more than $1 billion a month… with no risk of borrower defaults or getting stuck with rotten government debt like 2023 banks.
The difference in transparency is absurd. The reserves are far stronger and the company is way more profitable than any traditional bank.
Don’t sell in panic.
Look for buying opportunities.

Florida elected a Republican governor who backed a U.S. Bitcoin reserve. Texas elected a Democratic senator who voted to create one for his state. The case for holding Bitcoin crosses party lines.
Smells like securities

There was a moment when the law still required that a conviction confirmed by every available court be respected. That moment ended in November 2019.
A man stood convicted. The sentence had been rendered by a federal judge, confirmed by an appellate court, and treated as final for the purpose of imprisonment under the very rule the Supreme Court itself had declared. He entered prison. Then the same Court, by a single vote, changed the rule. The President of the Court, Dias Toffoli, cast the deciding ballot. The prisoner walked free. Not because new evidence appeared. Not because the appellate judgment was overturned on the merits. Because the highest court decided, in the middle of the case, that the standard it had previously applied no longer applied to him.
Two years later the same institution went further. The convictions themselves were annulled. Jurisdiction was declared improper. The original judge was declared biased. The cases were sent elsewhere and allowed to expire. The man who had been barred from the ballot returned to the presidency. Those who defend these acts speak of correction. Those who examine the sequence see something else: a court that first altered the rule of imprisonment while a political prisoner remained inside the walls, and then erased the judgments that had placed him there.
At the same moment the Court opened an inquiry against its critics. Inquiry 4781 was not requested by the Public Ministry. It was not assigned by lottery. It was created by the President of the Court and delivered, by name, to a single justice. The inquiry investigated threats to the Court, and the Court was both the victim and the investigator. One justice alone warned that the procedure could become limitless. He was outvoted ten to one. For seven years the inquiry operated largely in secret, produced freezes and suspensions, and placed the ordinary machinery of accusation under the direction of the very tribunal that claimed to be under attack.
The man who opened that inquiry had spent the better part of his career inside the Workers’ Party. He had advised its congressional leadership. He had served as counsel to its presidential campaigns. He had worked under its most powerful minister and had been named Attorney General by the very president whose later convictions the Court would undo. He was elevated to the Supreme Court by that president. The professional bond was not hidden. It was the public record of his rise.
What the record shows is this. A conviction confirmed through the ordinary courts was undone by the extraordinary court. An inquiry opened without the Public Ministry was placed in the hands of one justice and sustained for years. The justice who opened it had long and documented service to the political force that benefited from the annulment. The Court that changed the rule of imprisonment while the prisoner sat in a cell later erased the sentences that justified the cell.
Institutions do not protect themselves by concentrating the power to investigate, to imprison, and to free in the same hands. They protect themselves by refusing that concentration. The votes were cast. The history was written. The question that remains is whether a republic can survive when the highest court reserves to itself the power both to open the inquiry and to close the prison door. 🚪
Authorities in California are urgently seeking the public’s help identifying a heavyset male last seen brandishing what appears to be an AR-style rifle while seated on a grassy embankment.
Random emails referring to the man by the nicknames “300 Cent,” “Martin Burger King”, “Pablo Engordar” , Mr. Mounjaro.
Law enforcement sources say the aliases have only complicated an already straightforward manhunt.
one official noted:
“Yet the public keeps sending us food-related and weight-related puns instead of actionable locations.”

Ladies and Gentlemen
of the #crypto faith:
I am one of you.
I remain bullish on #bitcoin / #crypto as money and utility tokens in the long run.
If the security holds, the supply and demand argument eventually prevails. That conviction stands in the long run.
Yet in the short and mid term many of you look only at one side:
the supply side, ignoring the demand.
#Bitcoiners ( #BTC or #BCH) fixate on the twenty-one million, on the next halving, on the elegance of diminishing issuance.
#altcoiners have their own multiple arguments too.
We are in a competition and that is the beautiful thing about the market.
But…
Many of us treat scarcity as if it were always more demand. It is not.
Look, for once, at the demand side.
#Stablecoin supply has already risen with force. It surged through the last year and touched its peak. Regulation is about to remove the last obstacles.
When the rules are clear, the banks will not hesitate. They will enter fully. They will issue, distribute, and embed digital dollars into every marketplace that matters.
Other currencies are being flipped into dollar stablecoins by choice, not force. In emerging markets, people convert local money into USDT and USDC the moment the rails exist, seeking a unit that holds still. Once banks enter under clear regulation, this substitution becomes ordinary infrastructure, enlarging dollar demand while every weaker currency loses practical ground in the short and mid term.
That entry will not be gradual. It will be a shock of demand. And with it, the marketplaces themselves will be transformed. Remittances, remote labor, cross-border trade, ordinary savings around the 🌎 , all will run more easily on dollar rails.
The preference most people already hold will be scaled beyond anything we have measured.
The dollar is not a tired paper relic.
It rests on hundreds of trillions of economic claims and on the armed force of the United States.
That is power. It does not vanish because we prefer the long arithmetic of #Bitcoin.
This is an alarm for the next few years, not a renunciation of the thesis.
Stay long!
But do not continue to measure only the supply you admire while ignoring the demand that already exists and is about to be multiplied.
Never underestimate the central banks 🏦 specially now, in the short term.
Never underestimate the dollar once the banks decide to supercharge it.
