Yes, i fully agree with Token Gremlin. Our $200 ChatGPT Pro rates are being halved in 3 days. As fun as it is to receive resets regularly, OpenAi better drop a Opus 5.5 competitor thats as efficient as Sol. Super sad to see.

A reset is nice, but let's not forget that ChatGPT Pro limits are being cut from 20x to 10x in less than 3 days. This hits existing Pro $200 subscribers who kept the old 20x allowance, and yes, they got a one-time 62,500 credits (about $2,500) to soften the blow, but a one-time grant doesn't make up for a permanent cut.
There are only 5 days left in Tibo's 28 Days, and I really hope OpenAI uses them to fix this, whether that's rethinking the cut or shipping a model that's as good as Opus 5.5 while being way more efficient than GPT-6 Astra.
Paying users deserve more than half of what they signed up for.

OpenAI is about to cut ChatGPT Pro usage limits by 50%.
Starting October 30 (2 days left):
• Codex + Work: 50% fewer uses
• GPT-6 Pro: 50% fewer messages
• Monthly price: Still $200
Half the usage for Same price 😭
And with Fable 5.5 about to release, switching to Claude Opus 5.5 feels like a much better deal right now.
At this point, what exactly are we Pro users paying $200 for?

Pay-for-results?? This is so fucked up...
Dario believes the future of AI pricing is pay-for-results. Where tokens outputted by the model are dynamically priced based on novelty of the work.
Fixing a frozen Mac by restarting it could cost a dollar.
But creating a new molecule could cost millions.
How would Claude know if something is a success vs a hallucination?
How would Claude label a task as novel?
How would this encourage competition if it favors the mega corporations with large budgets?
This is a very grim outlook on the affordability of AI.
