The performance was a disgrace. Ridiculous team selection, tactics, substitutions, set-pieces and physical intensity.
Even getting one of those elements spot-on and you beat this Spurs side.

Xabi Alonso's football is apathy inducing. It's so nondescript.
It's like what you'd see if a team had no coach. And this is with full weeks of training.

Estevao inside 5 minutes won as many 50/50 duels (2/2) as Pedro Neto managed (2/7) inside 86 minutes today for Chelsea agonist Hull City. It’s not about age, it’s about if you got it.

I was at Wembley when we went 1-0 up against Italy in the Euros final in 2021. We went 1-0 up against Croatia in the 2018 World Cup semifinal. We went 1-0 up tonight. We stopped playing in all three. No issues with the effort, but why don’t we learn?

94 touches from Messi, second only to Enzo.
9 dribbles.
4 key passes.
2 assists.
Extraordinary influence. And equally remarkable how he was allowed to exert it.

Dunno where this surprise in Tuchel shitting the bed comes from. He’s a decent enough manager but he shit it twice in those cup finals v Liverpool in his second season and completely fucked it v Real Madrid that year in the 1st leg.

Took Chelsea from an utter shambles getting 6000 at home and left them as a Champions league team with ground security and a magnificent squad who then went on to have their most successful ever period. One of the biggest mouths in football but always backed it up. Rest easy Ken.
Chelsea Football Club is today mourning the passing of former chairman Ken Bates.
The club sends our heartfelt condolences to Ken’s wife Suzannah, the rest of his family and his friends.
Ken’s determination to fight for Chelsea when times were tough, and drive the team on to winning trophies will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Ken.

Richest league in the world, destroying each other instead of working together with bogus financial limitations and endless litigation. Pathetic, really.
EXCL: The Lawyer can reveal that Burnley has won its legal case against Everton over Everton's PSR breaches. The Toffees are to pay Burnley nearly £40m in damages and interest. Everton is expected to appeal.

I had to laugh, the guy who ran my lads U10 Sunday team this season has more cat 1 academy experience than Mcfarlane and has the same UEFA coaching level.

Things we had when Chelsea was “not terribly well managed”:
League titles
Proper European trophies
A front of shirt sponsor
European football
