I hope they make a Steam release for the PS2 version of KOF XI one day, with rollback netcode Probably gonna have to ban some of those additional characters in tournaments though, lol

DUNHUANG WARRIORS opens in Hong Kong next week so I expect it to still be available when I arrive in mid-November. Here’s the English subtitled trailer.

I have at least two movie screenings to look forward to in HK.

"A Better Jianghu" (杯雪·一战成名) is out on iqiyi, and it's a pretty compelling watch. Pan Binlong and Andy On play a pretty compelling cat & mouse game while some real fun wuxia fights punctuate the story. A major improvement over The Butcher's Blade. letterboxd.com/thedimmak/fil…

Happy Birthday to Jean-Claude Van Damme. A true martial arts cinema icon who just as famously had many difficulties in his personal life, despite his success. Here's a clip from what may be his finest hour on film in JCVD

A Better Jianghu 杯雪·一战成名 [2026] Directed By: Liu Wenpu Currently on iQIYI. "Two individuals, the scholar Shen Fang and the knight-errant Luo Han, steal a huge sum of silver from the official Qin Hui to support the anti-Jin rebels, devising a grand deception to combat the imperial guard and rally people from all walks of life to their cause during the Southern Song Dynasty" One of the most fun I had this year watching a martial arts film full review later on the day.

I'm probably going to review this for the website. Based on a popular 2001 martial arts novel, the plot is far more compelling than your average iQIYI movie, but I can imagine some purists being put off by its digitally sped-up action sequences.

Martial master took us one and half a year to do all the action design, move sprites and pixel arts, it’s too bad didn’t Started a trend😅 these are master Huang’s original action draft.

This topic makes me wish we got a Super Martial Masters or Martial Masters 2 or whatever, a sequel to the game is basically trying to answer the question "What if Once Upon a Time in China" was a fighting game. There's plenty of other great fighting ideas to ape from those movies
Space Cowboy (COMMS OPEN)@BattyWandererOct 17
been thinking of what movies out there recreate the feeling of a fighting game onscreen and I settled on a niche pick: Fist of The Condor Not without its flaws, but the several 1v1 bouts against colourful villains are excellent, and Zaror is a physical demon

We never got NotDonnieYen in this game! We still don't have a fighting game character that uses the wet towel staff as their primary weapon. Imagine how many interesting attacks you could pull out of this idea alone.

Saw some talk yesterday that Spaghetti Westerns are slow, inaccessible and too political, so here's a clip of Sartana being the coolest guy around to cleanse your timeline.

I'm not a reviewer but I put some thoughts on the Street Fighter movie (spoilers). It's just whatever, but for what is worth, it probably has the best fight scene involving a sumo wrestler ever put in a movie. letterboxd.com/thedimmak/fil…

The worst thing about getting into yt video essays is slowly realising that all the best video essayists have already retired.
