Andy Barr had to ask for the healthcare question again. After 14 years in Congress, here’s his record: • Voted to repeal the ACA, threatening protections for 1.8 million Kentuckians with preexisting conditions. • Voted against a $35 insulin cap. • Voted for Trump’s law, which risked triggering $536 BILLION in Medicare cuts • Backed a law projected to cut $21 BILLION in federal Medicaid funding for Kentucky. 14 years in Washington and now healthcare is at risk, and Kentuckians deserve answers, not excuses.

Andy Barr once proposed term limits that would have capped House members at 12 years. Now, 14 years later, he's still in Congress. Apparently, term limits are a great idea when they apply to everyone else. Tonight’s debate was another reminder that Andy Barr’s promises are easy to make and easy to break. No wonder Mitch McConnell handpicked him as his successor. Same old Washington politics, same old swamp and same old broken promises! Kentucky deserves better!
