I have to be honest, there was a time when I thought Petr Yan might never make it back to the top. Lost 4 of 5 fights. 3 in a row. But since then, what a run he's been on: Beat Song Yadong, Deiveson Figueiredo, Marcus McGhee, and then Merab to reclaim the belt. And now, after back surgery, he beats Merab again. Down 2 rounds to none, against a guy who had dominated him before. What a freaking fight. Fight of the year contender. Just another reminder of why we love this sport so much.

Talent isn't a Scheme Injuries and inexperienced players cause execution errors, and talent always matters. But a good scheme gives a team more options. It creates answers and doesn’t demand that players bail a team out of broken play designs and decisions. The Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff needs to pivot from their previous direction and create a functional offense.

Adaptation is not surrender; it is what good coaching is all about. The Philadelphia Eagles need to make offensive adjustments and move past the idea that "talent" is a scheme. Creativity, answers, and adjustments are the only way this offense will improve.

If the Eagles can’t run the ball tonight with Dickerson and Saquon back AND find a way to get Makai Lemon the ball in his spots, then I don’t think the rest of the season can be salvaged. Eagles need to see how Golden was used last week, he shredded Dallas and is a similar player to Lemon.
