The Lady Bulldogs are up 35-16 at halftime. Here are some of my halfetime thoughts Defensive Pressure The pressure from this Lady Bulldog is noticeable making Wintrhop ball handlers very uncomfortable with the basketball in their hands. The defensive rotations have made progress from last game. Jailyn Banks quick hands and feet is so valuable on the defensive end. She has two steals but also has been apart of multiple 24 second shot clock violations. Dakota Howard Howard continues to show her two-way versatility being the leading scorer but also has three blocks and a steal. Howard had buzz around her name this preseason and we are seeing she is as good as advertised. Bench Production There has been four players to score off of the bench for the Lady Bulldogs tonight. One player that is standing out is Milan Brown. Her athletic ability around the rim is very noticing. She is a player that brings a dynamic to the floor that can create momentum shifting plays.

With so many transfers on the roster, developing chemistry could have been a challenge, but Georgia showed encouraging signs in its season opener. Rapid Reactions: Lady Bulldogs Show Off Depth, Fast-Paced Offense in Season-Opening Win FREE | gloryglorygeorgia.com/rapid-…

Here are some of my halftime thoughts between Georgia WBB and West Georgia Run, Run, Run The Lady Bulldogs team have gotten out and have made this West Georgia team enter what feels like a track race against them. All players who have subbed in the game can get the rebound and go. They have been playing in controlled chaos with only having two turnovers so far in this game. Quality shots The offense has looked good with the ball movement and extra passes. 9 of 10 Lady Bulldogs have put points on the board in this game. With so many transfers, it is tough to regain that chemistry early, but it is not a problem for this team this early. They are shooting 51% from the field and 38% from three so far. Defensive Activity Head coach Ayla Guzzardo wanted the calling card for this team to be defense, and it is showing. West Georgia is shooting 25% from the field and 11% from three. The Lady Bulldogs are playing with their hands out, and they are getting deflections. They have forced West Georgia into eight turnovers so far.
