I read the start of this and was shocked. Then read to the end and spit out my coffee.
I was robbed at a gas station in NJ last night. After my hands stopped trembling..I managed to call the cops and they were quick to respond and calmed me down..... My money is gone.. the police asked me if I knew who did it..I said yes.. it was pump number 9…
This would mean so much to @JeremyKahn1 - brought tears to my eyes. ❤️
Replying to @JanieMcCAP
Steve Kerr offers his condolences to the family of @JeremyKahn1.

Their #bromance continues! So happy to have peace and calmness in the #WhiteHouse - it’s been a loooong 4 years.
Congratulations to my friend, President @JoeBiden! This is your time.

A5: I always ask my Ss what they’ve been doing and who they are spending time with. My most vulnerable kiddos I make sure are talking to our school counselor. #AppleEDUChat
Q5 In addition to taking care of our own well-being, how can we help our students make time for their own wellness? #AppleEDUChat

A4: my school realized this and got grants for teachers to help with our mental well-being. I used my grant to take a ceramics class at my house. It’s been a lovely way to get my creative juices flowing again! #AppleEDUChat
Q4 We’ve learned that our physical and mental health need to take a priority. What will you do this year to ensure that you’re focused on your own wellness? #AppleEDUChat

A3: Lately some parents don’t understand the work their S is doing is important. Many Ss are missing work & some parents want us to ignore it. They don’t want to hear work is foundational. Would be nice to have more of a partnership & appreciation for my knowledge. #AppleEDUChat
Q3 Connecting and communicating with parents and caregivers has taken on new meaning throughout 2020. How might we continue to collaborate with and support our partners at home? #AppleEDUChat

A2: I do a lot of one-on-one work with Ss - I try to make sure we meet at a time that works for them but doesn’t take away needed breaks: not during lunch, not after school, and not during something “fun” if we can avoid it. My job is to help, not add more stress. #AppleEDUChat
Q2 We’ve had to find creative ways to design lessons and engage students no matter where learning is taking place. What strategies will you continue to use this year? #AppleEDUChat
A1: I will continue to reinforce tracking assignments (did you write it down?), helping students advocate for themselves, and being my silly goofy self with my students. #AppleEDUChat
Q1: Last year we learned that connecting with our students is critical to learning, sustained engagement and overall success. What habits, strategies and lessons will you bring into 2021? Share your stories! #AppleEDUChat
