🚨 JUST NOW: President Trump announces Canada will be DROPPING TARIFFS on American farmers, in a gigantic win
"Our farmers pay tremendous tariffs to send things to Canada. All those tariffs will be DONE! There will be NO tariffs. There will be no tariffs. They were paying as much as 400 percent."
"So part of the agreement is that our farmers will have to pay no tariffs."
Simply amazing.
Trump has been dealmaking for WEEKS, and it's all coming to a close soon
If Canada upholds their end of the deal, they will realize why they should treat the USA with RESPECT 🇺🇸🇨🇦

We discussed the idea of Canada being the first Associate Member of the EU.
And what it would mean in practice.
A focus on the prosperity & security of our people.
Through closer policymaking, participation in EU programmes and inter-institutional work.

Canada and the EU are working towards the deepest possible partnership — short of full membership — with Canada becoming the European Union’s first Associate Member.
Today in Montréal, we took a major step forward with more than twenty new measures that will create greater affordability, opportunity, and sovereignty on both sides of the Atlantic.

🛬 Touchdown in Montréal 🇨🇦
Rarely have I looked forward to a Summit this much.
An ocean separates Europe and Canada. Yet we have never felt closer.
We have a new ambition: bringing Canada closer to us than ever before, as Associate Member of the EU.
And we want to take our unique partnership even further.
With an Alliance for the Future, we will stand together and respond to a world of growing rivalries.
Montréal, we’re about to write a new chapter in our shared history.

So you don't view Arab citizens as Israelis? Thanks for clarifying, Mr. Ambassador.
Today is election day in Israel, which is a national holiday. All voting is in person, ID required. No mail-in or absentee ballots. Arabs vote same as Israelis. Contentious process, but it's a democracy-not many of those in this region!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Arab voters are Israeli citizens. Listing them in contrast to Israelis is misconstruing the facts.
