Mayor Mamdani just made a video explaining your rights when ICE shows up. Great. Everyone should know their rights. But he left out something VERY important. What ICE is legally allowed to do. Let me explain what he didn't. 1. ARE YOU SAFE FROM ICE INSIDE A CHURCH, HOSPITAL, OR WORKPLACE? NO. ICE can generally enter places open to the public. A hospital waiting room? YES. A church service open to the public? YES. A store or restaurant? YES. They generally don't need a warrant to enter those public areas. Your home and private rooms are different. Those have stronger legal protections. ICE generally needs a judge's warrant, permission, or a valid emergency exception to enter. But simply walking into a church or hospital does NOT make you untouchable. A church is not an ICE-free zone. 2. CAN YOU JUST STAY SILENT AND WALK AWAY? Not necessarily. You have the right to remain silent. Absolutely. You can also ask, "Am I free to go?" If the officer says yes, you can leave. But if the officer says NO? You can't simply decide the law no longer applies to you. Federal law allows ICE to arrest people without a judicial warrant under certain conditions. Your right to remain silent is NOT a right to avoid lawful arrest. 3. IF THE NYPD REFUSES TO HELP ICE, DOES THAT STOP ICE? NO. New York City can generally refuse to help enforce federal civil immigration law. That's the city's choice. But ICE works for the FEDERAL government. Not the mayor. Not City Hall. Mamdani cannot cancel federal law. It's really that simple. 4. CAN YOU PROTEST AGAINST ICE? YES. Peaceful protests are protected by the Constitution. But physically blocking a lawful arrest? NO. The right to protest is not the right to break the law. Now, Mayor Mamdani. Here's my question. Why did you spend your video explaining what ICE cannot do, while barely mentioning what ICE CAN legally do? Immigrants have constitutional rights. Of course they do. Nobody is denying that. But having rights doesn't mean federal immigration law suddenly stops applying to you. And refusing to cooperate with ICE doesn't make ICE disappear. Here's the part that really bothers me. You're sitting comfortably in front of a camera, telling people how to deal with federal agents. But you're not the one who may face those agents. They are. You get the likes. You get the applause. You get to look like a hero. And if someone misunderstands your advice, THEY face the consequences. If you really care about these people, tell them everything. What their rights are. What ICE can legally do. And what could happen if they misunderstand the difference. Because giving people half the truth and calling it protection isn't leadership. It's political theater. And you're using other people's futures as your stage.

MONDAY NIGHT KEITH HEALTH UPDATE!! Update Monday, October 19 Kari just emailed me the following: "After a relatively quiet weekend around the hospital, we were back to doing therapies today. The communication device (looks like an iPad) is absolutely amazing. Keith is working really hard and has to build up stamina with using it. We also work at passive mobility movement to keep his muscles moving and maintain range of motion. A huge victory over the weekend was that he is completely off the ventilator- they even removed it from his room! He is breathing on his own (still getting oxygen) and his lungs are strong. I continue to read the lovely prayers and comments to him. He heard the song “Malinak Miracle” and thoroughly enjoyed it. We’ve played the Huskers and Falcons games two weeks in a row, but we want positive movement forward, so I’m not sure we’ll do that again unless things start turning around in these games! On Saturday they had him sitting in a cardiac chair for a bit. This is a long road we’re traveling, but he is so grateful to be traveling with prayer warriors who continue to lift him before the Lord. We thank the Lord for His steadfast mercy and love. This was all unexpected for us, but God was not surprised and He has placed us in the best care we could hope for and we trust His will. We pray for a miraculous full recovery, certainly it would be for our good, but we seek it to God’s glory." #patheads #putthatinyourpipe #malinakmiracle #keithheads #MyAmerica @ShannonBream @glennbeck @HilaryKennedy @PatUnleashed @Rowdy_Introvert @JeffyJFR

Greta Gerwig’s $280 Million ‘Narnia’ Reportedly an ‘Awful’ Disaster as Netflix Scrambles to Fix Film “Netflix may have a $280 million problem on its hands. Just one day after Greta Gerwig’s controversial Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew trailer debuted, a new insider report alleges that the expensive fantasy adaptation has been plagued by disappointing test screenings, additional filming, and growing tensions behind the scenes.”

Explain this to a Japanese person, because we are utterly baffled. If a foreign network systematically drugged and raped tens of thousands of schoolgirls in Tokyo and Osaka... If the police covered it up to avoid being called racist... And if our government then handed citizenship to a foreign militant while letting rape ringleaders walk free... Our cabinet would fall by midnight. Every police chief involved would be in prison attire within a week. The entire country would stand united in unstoppable outrage. Yet in Britain, you are told to stay polite. You are told to watch your tone. You are told that anger makes you "far-right." At what point did not offending the political elite become more important than the physical bodies of your daughters? Politeness is a virtue. Politeness in the face of child sacrifice is complicity.

Hey Bernie, care to comment?
This is what oligarchy is: Elon Musk, the richest man alive, plans to spend at least $100 million to help elect Republicans. We must end this corrupt campaign finance system, get rid of Citizens United, ban super PACs and move to public funding of elections.

Wednesday Reset. Some weeks the fear isn't failure. It's falling behind while everybody else looks caught up. Isaiah 41:10 still holds midweek: "Do not fear, for I am with you." You don't have to outrun the week. You have to stay with the One who is already in it.

A Canadian messaged me last week. He said: I agree with everything you post. I cannot say any of it at work. I asked: what would happen if you did? He said: reported to HR. Investigated. Probably let go. He lives in Canada. Not China. Not Russia. Canada. So yes. A Japanese account in Tokyo will keep posting. Until he can say it himself again.

Losing icons like Dolly Parton and Peter Cullen hit me hard this week. Dolly reminded me so much of Charlie Kirk, and Charlie always reminded me of George Washington. And in many ways, Washington was Optimus Prime. They all had a rare, humble spirit that didn't care about self-promotion. Instead, they earned universal respect through pure character and conviction. But when icons like them leave us, we can't just sit back in sorrow. Their deaths are a call for the rest of us to look inside ourselves and say, "I'll step up." Sixteen years ago, I stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and said, "One man can change the world. That man or woman is you." I still believe that to be true today. Somewhere out there right now, there's another Charlie Kirk. There's another Dolly Parton. So, ask yourself this weekend: What can you do to be better, to be more uniting, and to live a life worthy of the same respect these legends earned?
