This was basically my mood when this news came out yesterday. @get_optimum team has no idea of the joy they have brought to the community. Everyone is hyped! And having the $3.4B Ethereum stake boosted is insane; these numbers aren't normal. Congratulations @MurielMedard @kentlinyy. This is just the beginning of greater achievements. Gmum!
The Optimum team is pleased to announce our first mainnet deployment, mump2p on Ethereum. With mump2p, data moves across all of Ethereum 2-3x faster, boosting validator performance and network health. $3.4B of Ethereum stake is already being boosted by mump2p, and we’re now opening up free access for all Ethereum node operators.

My first TurboCard is here all thanks to @blockchainjeff and the optimum team, and I think this is a pretty cool way for @get_optimum to commemorate its mainnet launch. ♾️ But there's something interesting about this drop that goes beyond simply minting an NFT and adding another collectible to your wallet. Optimum has released 999 TurboCards, digital collectibles created from real network performance data. Each card is a soulbound token (SBT), meaning that once you mint yours, it stays permanently tied to your wallet. You can't sell it, transfer it to another wallet, or flip it on a marketplace. And here's the part I find particularly interesting: none of the 999 cards are for sale. In a space where almost every NFT launch comes with conversations about floor prices, trading volume, rarity, and potential profits, Optimum has made it clear that TurboCards have no monetary value and no utility. They're simply memorabilia created to celebrate the mainnet launch. I like that approach because it gives the community something to keep without turning every project milestone into another financial speculation event. Think of it as a digital memento of a particular moment in Optimum's journey. You were there, you participated, you got your card, and now you have something permanently associated with your wallet to remember it by. The fact that these cards are built from real network performance data makes the idea even more interesting. Optimum has spent its time working on how data moves through decentralized networks, and now the community gets a collectible connected to that story. For me, it's another way to make the journey feel tangible. We're not just reading announcements about the project; we're also collecting little pieces of its history as it develops. And of course, you have to get an access code to claim one. Here's how you can get yours. Step 1: Get an access code Codes will be dropping on Optimum's X account, Discord, community calls, and through quests organized by partner KOLs and community leaders. The first batch drops for people with refined and higher roles on Friday, October 23, so keep your eyes open and stay active in the community. Step 2: Unlock your TurboCard Head over to the official minting page: turbocards.getoptimum.xyz/op… Follow Optimum, connect your wallet, double-check that you're on the correct website, and enter your access code. Step 3: Mint and reveal your card Select your card, click “Mint now,” and confirm the transaction in your wallet. The gas fee is very minimal, so you won't need to spend much to mint it. Once you've minted your card, you can also connect your wallet to OpenSea to check your collectible and reveal your card if it doesn't appear immediately in your wallet. That's all there is to it! If you're not already part of the community, join the official Optimum Discord and follow @get_optimum on X. Keep up with the announcements, participate in community activities, and don't miss the access code drops. One important reminder, though: be careful with fake minting websites and people trying to sell codes. Only trust the mint link and codes shared through Optimum's official channels. 999 cards. Zero for sale. No flipping. Just a piece of Optimum history to keep. Now I've got mine, Who else wants to secure a TurboCard? ♾️ @get_optimum

A Guide to Optimum Nigeria Community Events: Monday to Sunday Being part of a community is one thing. Showing up, participating, contributing, and connecting with others is what helps you get more out of it. If you're part of the @get_optimum Nigeria Community or looking to get involved, here are the weekly events you can join. 🧵👇
A lot has been happening around Optimum lately, so here’s a quick catch-up. Optimum was in Seoul for KBW, where CEO @MurielMedard spoke with Maeil Business Newspaper about how @get_optimum is improving blockchain data propagation. The core idea is simple: blockchains depend on nodes receiving information quickly and reliably. Optimum applies Random Linear Network Coding (RLNC) to this problem, allowing data to be reconstructed from different combinations of packets instead of relying on repeated transmission of the same pieces. Early mainnet measurements showed about 2.4× faster block propagation compared with Ethereum’s existing networking method, alongside improved delivery consistency. Optimum is already being used by validators representing around 14% of staked ETH, or roughly $30B. And the goal goes beyond Ethereum. The team has also been building connections across the Asian ecosystem, including CODED in Seoul and its recent activity in Singapore. On October 6, Optimum and AMBR hosted an event focused on agentic trading, AI agents, and the future of financial infrastructure. One idea stood out: As AI agents take on more trading and decision-making, the speed and reliability of the data they rely on becomes increasingly important. An agent can make a decision quickly, but that decision is only as good as the information reaching it. That makes fast, reliable networking more than just a blockchain performance problem. It becomes an important part of the infrastructure behind increasingly autonomous systems. And there’s more ahead, with Optimum continuing to explore how accelerated networking can support blockchains where data propagation is a bottleneck. From Ethereum validators to the emerging agentic economy, the underlying question remains the same: How fast and reliably can the right information get where it needs to go? That’s the problem Optimum is working on.

This is exactly the kind of conversation we need to be having about Flexnodes in Nigeria. 🇳🇬 One thing I find exciting about the idea is the possibility of making participation in blockchain infrastructure accessible beyond the usual professional operators running massive data centres. Think about the curious Nigerian with a laptop, an internet connection, and a genuine interest in understanding how blockchain networks work. They may not have the resources to operate a data centre, but they still want to contribute to the technology shaping the future of decentralization. Where do people like that fit in? That's the question I believe makes Flexnodes worth paying attention to. Here in Nigeria, our internet experience isn't the same for everyone. Some people have stable WiFi, others depend on mobile data, and many of us have to think carefully about electricity costs, data subscriptions, and how long our devices can stay online. These are not small details. They determine whether someone can realistically participate in a network or whether the idea remains something they can only watch from the sidelines. For Flexnodes to reach their potential here, accessibility has to mean more than simply making the software available. People need to understand the hardware requirements, expected bandwidth usage, power demands, setup process, and what participation actually involves. Can someone operate a Flexnode from home? What happens when their internet connection drops? How much data might they consume? What kind of contribution can they make, and are there rewards associated with it? These are the practical questions people will ask before deciding whether to participate. We also need clear documentation, beginner-friendly tutorials, and community members who can help newcomers get started without making them feel like they need a degree in networking first. Of course, we should be careful not to assume that every Flexnode can run on any device or that people can participate without meaningful costs. The actual requirements and participation model matter, and we need to understand them properly as more details become available. But imagine what it could mean if the barriers were manageable. Someone in Lagos, another person in Abuja, someone in Port Harcourt, and someone in a smaller town could all have a path to learning about and potentially contributing to the infrastructure behind decentralized networks. They wouldn't all need to be professional node operators to become part of the conversation. And I think there's another important point here: success shouldn't be measured by the number of nodes alone, but by the value those nodes actually contribute to the network. We want useful infrastructure, sustainable participation, and people who understand what they're helping to build. The goal shouldn't be to turn Flexnodes into another activity people rush into solely because they expect an airdrop. It should be to create an opportunity for people to learn, contribute meaningfully, and potentially earn from their participation if the model supports it. Nigeria has no shortage of people interested in technology and Web3. What we need are clearer pathways for that interest to become practical participation. That's why I believe onboarding is just as important as the technology itself. If we want broader adoption, we have to make it easier for ordinary people to understand what they're joining, what it takes to participate, and what their contribution means. I'm excited to see how @get_optimum develops the Flexnode ecosystem and what opportunities it could create for communities like ours. Decentralization should mean more than distributing infrastructure across different locations. It should also mean creating opportunities for more people to contribute to the systems powering the decentralized future. Decentralize to Scale. D2S. ♾️🇳🇬
what would flexnode adoption look like in nigeria? not just professional operators running massive data centers. I'm talking about people like me, who are curious about the tech, have internet access, and want to contribute to the infrastructure powering blockchains! 🧵:)

A certificate is only as useful as the confidence people have in its authenticity, a video is only as reliable as the evidence supporting it, and an important document becomes a liability when nobody can confidently establish whether it has been altered. This is one of the uncomfortable realities of our increasingly digital world: creating information is getting easier, but verifying it is becoming more complicated. AI has changed the game. We can now generate convincing images, imitate voices, manipulate videos, and produce content that looks authentic even when its origins are questionable. So, where do we go from here? One approach is to build better ways to establish the identity and history of digital files. That is the direction UHRATE is exploring. @uhrate_official is building a decentralized authenticity network designed to give digital files permanent identities on the blockchain. The interesting part is that this goes beyond one type of file. Documents, images, videos, and audio can all fall within the scope of digital verification. Here is where the project gets practical. UHRATE offers file registration for $0.20 per file, or $0.10 when paying with its native UHR token. This creates an on-chain identity that can be used to support verification. It also provides free AI-powered authenticity checks designed to identify signs of deepfakes, digital manipulation, and AI-generated content. For institutions and organizations, its document registry supports networks including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, and Polygon. Educational credentials, legal records, and digital media are among the potential use cases. Developers are not left out either. UHRATE provides an API that allows verification capabilities to be integrated into other applications. What I find compelling is the problem behind the product. Trust online has traditionally depended heavily on the reputation of the person sharing something or the platform hosting it. But as digital content becomes easier to manipulate, reputation alone may not always be enough, Verification needs evidence. A blockchain can preserve a record of registered information, while AI can help flag suspicious content. Together, these technologies can support a stronger verification process, although neither can independently guarantee that a file is truthful or that every manipulation will be detected. That distinction is important because the goal should not simply be to label everything as real or fake. It should be to give people better tools to investigate, verify, and make informed decisions. UHRATE is positioning itself in this space, where digital identity, AI detection, and blockchain records meet. The project also has a native utility token, $UHR, currently advertised in presale at $0.01. Using the token offers a reduced file registration fee according to the project's description. As with any presale, the token's future value, adoption, and investment risks require independent research. You can explore the project through its official resources: Website: uhrate.online Whitepaper: uhrate.online/whitepaper Tokenomics: uhrate.online/tokenomics Presale: uhrate.online/presale The internet has spent decades making information easier to create, copy, and distribute. The next challenge is making its origins and integrity easier to verify. That is the conversation UHRATE is stepping into, and it is one worth following as AI continues to reshape our relationship with digital information. #UHRATE #Blockchain

I need answers @multiplifi , and the community needs answers too. On Sat, Oct 10 morning, I wanted to check my Multiplifi yield. Like always, I went to Multiplifi's official X handle and copied the link from @multiplifi own X page. The site was unresponsive. It kept freezing, so I thought it was my network connection. In my 1inch wallet browser, I hit "connect wallet" repeatedly. Connect hung, then a signature popped up. I signed, thinking it was a login. Then the site went blank again. I left it think it was my connectivity On Monday, I came back to the website and it was still not opening. I checked their X; no announcement. I commented on their latest post asking if their website was down. I searched for their Discord and joined. In their Discord, I asked if the website was down, and the admin said the website should be up (at this time, I wasn't aware that their website frontend was compromised). So today, I came back again and noticed that 1inch wallet flagged the site as suspicious. I became curious and went back to their Discord again. Only then did I find out the founder had tweeted that the frontend was compromised. The official handle never posted or reposted it. I checked BscScan: exec calls from my wallet, and my xUSDT redeemed on Oct 10, the same day I signed that popup. I hadn’t noticed. Approval Tx bscscan.com/tx/0xa6c60ffdb71… xUSdt token transfer bscscan.com/tx/0x5b8d93a5cdd… bscscan.com/tx/0x5b8d93a5cdd… I came back to my 1inch wallet and saw the same thing. I opened a ticket on their Discord. A mod replied that he had forwarded it to the team and that the estimated response might be by the end of the day on the 15th October. I ALWAYS copy the link from @multiplifi’s X page before visiting. One warning post there would have saved me. Why stay silent while users were being drained? The address that executed this has over 1,000 transactions; I am not the only victim. If you used the Multipli website from Oct 9 onward, you may need to pay attention to your wallet. @multiplifi , a tweet or repost on the official page would have saved my funds and those of others. Why act like nothing as dangerous as your frontend being compromised happened? I still need answers.
