Can’t love this enough. That’s my grandson he’s talking about! Kudos to my daughter for a timely and creative way to celebrate her son!!

That’s not “Acuńa’s celebration. Literally the entire team makes the same gesture rounding the bases after a HR.

Looks like a catch at full speed. But logically (which doesn’t count in rulings) it hit the ground as his glove rolled over.

Terrible. Especially the casting. Didn’t believe JT for one second as a scout. Amy Adams is amazing but not in this movie. But most of all the kid who went #1 in the draft looked more like a final round favor to a friend.

But the photo does show her front foot is out of the box on contact. This would be considered an out.

The rule is the runner cannot be assisted around the bases. There is no rule about being touched by teammates or even a coach for that matter.

💯 Runner can’t interfere with the defense’s right to make a play on the ball. And he did by running in front of him.

He doesn’t have to disengage the rubber if he throws to first. He just can make a move toward home. The 45 degree step also comes into play for lefties. But it’s a balk regardless because you can’t fake a throw. Had he stepped off with his back foot he could have thrown to second
