Another legend leaves us. I met Cloris at the Governor’s Ball after the Emmys one year and embarrassed myself by sitting in a chair that wasn’t there, falling flat on my bum in front of her. I know I gave her the biggest laugh of the evening. 1/2

Two months after my Mum died, my father Jolyon followed her today. He was kind and tolerant. And, even at 90, he was still a charmer! But, after 68 years of a happy marriage, he missed Shirley too much. His heart just stopped.
