3.4. Streamline your process as much as you can. Hearing stories of candidates going through 7 rounds of interviews in 2024 is absolutely insane, are you seriously trying your best to not secure the best talent? If you need 7 opinions to judge their skillset, you are the issue.

4. I could write endless tweets on this topic, but I will keep it at that for now. PS: The link to the study I referenced in the first tweet is here: business.linkedin.com/conten…

1. A quick thread for the hiring managers/employers out there: From a 2024 study via LinkedIn - 65% of candidates would be put off a position from a bad interview experience. Talent is too tight in this market to lose out on potential hires due to a poor interview structure.

3.3. Clear and concise feedback is a non-negotiable. No matter how busy you may be, treat a candidate with respect and give them the feedback loop they need to improve. You never know when you may cross paths with that candidate again.

3.2. Be engaging in selling your project/product by creating an open forum for back and forth discussion. A candidate should also get the chance to interview you, them finding the right role is just as important for them as it is for you to find the right candidate

3.1. How can you avoid a 'bad candidate experience' you ask? - Ask clear, direct and well structured questions, - Do not ask cliche questions meant to trick people or put them on the spot (Developers, Marketers etc would always take time to think and assess a problem in depth)

2. In a market as talent short as Web3/Blockchain/Crypto - word certainly spreads quickly. You provide a bad experience to a candidate and you better believe their network will know about it. Word of mouth is crucial.

During any interview, it's crucial to be open and honest about your past projects. In the preparation, be sure to recall the mistakes and the lessons you've learned from them. Why is this important? This transparency not only demonstrates your adaptability and capacity for growth but also shows potential employers that you can handle challenges and learn from them.
