Hi! It’s me. I’ve got good news. A book I wrote has been accepted to be published by @winsbooks. I can’t promise that I’ll be more active on here. I probably won’t. There’s only so many platforms I can keep up with.

I just wanted to let y’all know how excited I am about my novel being published. I really put a lot of hard work, effort, and who I am into it.

I started writing my first horror novel today. I’m only about 1,000 words into it, but I already have a loose plan in mind of how I’m going to get from where I am to the end. It’s exciting stuff.

My current WIP novel is a contemporary fiction novel about a man that believes he was hit by a car as a child and has been living his life in his subconscious. His therapist talks him into writing a daily blog to sort out his feelings and try to get a better hold of reality.

The blog leads to money starting to regularly show up from a mysterious contributor.

Now, 30 years after the accident, he decides to try to determine who has been giving him money all these years and why. He has a very Breakfast Club like group of friends that help him along the way.

The MMC of my WIP is a blogger. I’m thinking of making a Patreon and a Paid Substack Subscription where I write blogs from his POV that give backstory leading up to the beginning of the novel. Mainly just as a way to build interest in my book.

I could also use it as a way to build money for publishing related costs in case I end up going down the self-publishing route.

So…I know I haven’t been active on here much lately. Too much to update on for one post, but I’ll do my best. I was out of work for about a year. Found a new job in the state of Illinois. Moved my family to Illinois with me (about a 600 mile move). I also wrote a novel.

Things are good…for the most part. I’ve had some health issues, but we’re trying to figure things out. The main reason I’m back here is because I want to publish my book, and most publishers/agents want authors to have a presence on here.

I pretty much stopped using this app a long time ago because my feed became way too toxic. I’m working on trying to get my latest novel published though, and all of the literary agents want a presence here… …so I guess I’m back.

I found a bar where I can watch the game. It’s turning out to be a good day.

Drinking some Wrexham Lager. Would have got a larger glass, but I’ve got an hour drive back to the house.

At the brewery that makes @WXM_Lager here in the states. Glad I made the trip.

Not the outcome we wanted, but not completely surprised either. Heading on an hour road trip over to the brewery that brews Wrexham Lager here in the states. @DESTIHLbrewery

Up and ready to listen to the game. I don’t have Paramount+ and only have a Wrexham Player subscription. So I guess I can only listen today.

Renewed my ifollow subscription now that I have money again, and will be up tomorrow bright and early at 6am to watch the game.

That 10 hour drive yesterday drained me. I have 0 energy today.

Just made the move up to Illinois by myself. The family will follow when we can sell the house and find something up here. It feels weird to be on my own for the first time in 18 years.
