Today was a big win for @NavyMedicine as 1st Medical Battalion signed a partnership agreement with @UCIrvineHealth that allows Navy trauma teams to work together and develop their skills. Mil-Civ collaborations such as this are key to @USMC health and readiness.

In this new @jamanetwork study of more than 33,000 allopathic MD-only medical students who identified as underrepresented in medicine race and ethnicity, had low income, and were from under resourced backgrounds were more likely to leave medical school.
