The photo was taken backstage during one of the most well-attended and historic concerts of “The Big Four” tour (the four giants of thrash metal: Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax) in Europe.
Dave Grohl attended the event as a fan and took the opportunity to meet the musicians backstage.

🔴 Position 5️⃣4️⃣
📀 Evildead – Annihilation of Civilization
🌎 USA 🇺🇸 - 1985
➡️ A ferocious, razor-sharp explosive assault of Bay Area-style LA thrash.
💣 Born from the ashes of Agent Steel and Abattoir, Los Angeles’s Evildead came out swinging in 1989 with a debut record that stands as a absolute prime-cut pillar of late-80s thrash metal.
☢️ Drenched in nuclear paranoia, toxic radiation themes, and Ed Repka’s iconic mutated artwork, Annihilation of Civilization delivers pure, unadulterated speed-thrash violence from start to finish.
🎼 What makes this album such an undeniable neck-wrecker is its vicious velocity and iron-clad riff writing. Juan Garcia and Mark Caro slice through the mix with a dual-guitar assault of lightning-fast tremolos, sharp gang-vocal setups, and unrelenting rhythmic crunch that gives bands like Sacred Reich, Testament, and Dark Angel a serious run for their money.
🎙️ Phil Flores’ vocals cut through the chaos with a gritty, barked urgency that feels like a front-row seat to the apocalypse, while the rhythm section keeps the whole thing moving like a runaway locomotive.
🔝 From the crushing riff-machine of the title track and the mosh-pit madness of "F.C.I. / The Apocalypse" to the hyper-speed energy of "Gone Shooting" and "Parricide," there isn't a single second of filler here.
👌 It’s loud, raw, politically angry, and packed with enough infectious riffage to split your skull wide open. A certified underground classic that every true thrash maniac holds sacred. ☣️☢️🔥

"When the Sun Burns Red", "People of the Lie", "Terror Zone" y el corte que da título al disco siguen siendo clásicos del thrash alemán.
¿Cuál es tu tema favorito de Coma of Souls?
