I do not envy people filling out AP Poll ballots. You have to put SOMEBODY in the top 5, but dang other than Miami (who has played no one) who else do you love enough to put up there?
Brewers are going to have a dramatic game-ending double play wiped out by a millimeter. Hopefully they get one more out and it won’t matter
That’s the tough thing about replay.
It was put in place to correct egregious misses by the umpires.
But the cost of adding it is plays like that where a centimeter can cost you.
As I’ve said before: it’s both totally correct and total bullsh**
I understand why the Rays had to challenge. It’s a pretty critical play, and the odds of a better spot to use that challenge happening are small.
However, if that ump had missed that, I’m not sure why he’s even out there. Literally right in front of him. Easy call.
SLU went out and got Sheek Pearson from Marquette because they needed help in the middle after Avila graduated... now they have both!
