@skytv .... Shocking WiFi... Of all the times to go down it's when you wait up until 1am then an extra hour... iPlayer buffering, no connection to Sky Box... Fuming. 5G saved the day.

@skytv The upgrade to Full Fibre looks like a waste of money right now 🤷🏼

My 15-year-old son refereed his very first game of football today. His first game — and his last. Will there be a second? No. In just one match he was shouted at more times than I could keep track of. And I don’t mean the usual “ref, how long?” kind of stuff. I mean full-on screeching, screaming, and being called “stupid,” “thick,” “blind” — and those were the polite words. He was called a cheat. He had expletives thrown at him by grown adults. Why? Because he gave a throw-in the “wrong” way. Because he didn’t see a foul the way someone else thought he should. Because he dared to make a call that somebody didn’t like. He’s 15. He’s learning. He’s not perfect — no referee is. But he was fair. He went out there with no bias, no agenda, just a love for the game and a willingness to step up so others could play. And the abuse broke him. After just one game, he walked off and said, “I’m done.” So to everyone who shouted, screamed, and tore into him today: don’t dress it up as “passion.” Your “passion” has cost the game a referee. Your “passion” has driven a young lad away after just 90 minutes. One less referee.

What a game!!! Moosehead sublime and ridiculous all in one game. The comments on the side by coaches literally ranged from I've not seen this bad, to this is some of the best rugby we have played... 🥴... Entertainment guaranteed!!
Yesterday we were hosted by @Blackheath_1858 in a game that swung both ways. Mooses with the win by a slender 28-31 scoreline @WalkandTalk999 MOTM awarded to Kai Roper Blackman of B’Heath and Luke Halford for us. Thanks to all. @GoodSamApp @LFBWelfareFund @williamwwatches

Whatever game you play, whether male or female, please don’t ever underestimate the relationships you can build at work, and the fun you can have. Always support fire brigade sport. The relationships will last more than a career.

a frustrating season so far for the Mooses, games organised only to be let down by weather and a variety of other circumstances. We soon take the field again though, in these brand new beauties as ever sponsored by the @LFBWelfareFund and our new sponsors @GoodSamApp

The team attended an open day at Orpington Fire Station yesterday in support of Child Safety Week. Lots of positive community engagement, giving youths and parents the opportunity to have a go with blue lights and sirens! Followed by a fantastic demonstration by LFB. @MPSBromley

Our #ChildSafetyWeek event at #Orpington on Sunday was a great success. Families were welcomed in to meet all those emergency service workers that keep them safe. Thanks @MPSBromley @Ldn_Ambulance for your support. @LondonFire @Orpington1st @LBofBromley @SE_DAC
