Combined @CoachPirillo’s Space Invaders activity & @ErvinGabe’s Pizza Pizza Pizza activity to work on overhand throwing w/ our 3rd graders who also started to learn fractions in their math class this week. Students love making pizzas & delivering them for 💵! #physed is the best!

Last week was the @NCSHAPE convention & today is the NC Healthful Living Admin Conference. Thankful to @catawbaschools for asking me to attend w/our PE Supervisor.
It’s been a pleasure working alongside side these amazing people during my time w/ @NCSHAPE. I’m thankful for all they do & will continue to do for #PhysEd teachers in NC. #BetterTogether #MakeItHappen #ItsTheKidsThatCount #DoWhatsRight #NCSHAPE23 @CourtneyBField1 @alexpgillis
These two amazing people from @FCPSAdaptedPE are sharing with @NCSHAPE attendees their knowledge & experiences for working with students of all abilities in #PhysEd and #AdaptedPE #NCSHAPE23
Everyone has a teacher who changed their life throughout their educational journey. @KatherinePasour is 1 of those teachers who changed my life. She believed in me & didn’t give up on me as I was figuring life out as a college S. It was an honor to be w/her to receive her award.
As a teacher, there's nothing more rewarding to be remembered favorably by former students. Honored and humbled to be inducted into the PE Hall of Fame by NC SHAPE. Thank you @JoeWeaver718 #NCSHAPE #BlessedAndGrateful
Day 2 of @NCSHAPE is being kicked off by @MillstonePS_PE in Winston 2. Come check out some instant activities. @OPENPhysEd #NCSHAPE23
Let’s take a moment to thank @ArtieKamiya for his tireless efforts to make the @ncshape organization successful. He & his executive board (@ncpe4life, @cmspe225, @CoachVedder_HPE, @coachwalk, @KymmBallard) have done a tremendous job w/this year’s convention. Please come join us!

A friendly reminder from #AdaptedPE to #PhysEd teachrs.
If an Adapted PE teacher comes to your school/gym for indirect or consult services they are NOT "checking up on you" they ARE there to support you in ensuring the indeified student builds skills and knowledge.
All are great picks for this year’s @NCSHAPE PEA Hall of Fame. @KatherinePasour is ☝🏼of a kind. She is the reason I am doing what I love to do. I’m thankful for her believing in me & guiding me towards a better path. She was dept. chair of HPE @lenoirrhyne during my time there.
As we countdown the days until the Regular Prices of the #NCSHAPE23 expire on 12/15/2023, we will be posting our 2023 Awardees who will be celebrated on Wednesday, 12/29 from 3:30 - 5:30 PM at the Benton Center. Today, we will start with the 2023 PE Hall of Fame Inductees!

Our theme is target games this rotation and it’s fall! We have to use our tic tac toe boards w/ some 🍏 🍎. #UnderhandToss #PhysEd #AdaptedPE #TGFU
For some, this is just a stuffed animal. For my student w/#Autism, this helps her be successful in my #PhysEd class. The 🐘 watches her complete a task & then it participates along w/her. She looks forward to PE knowing the 🐘 will be there. #MakeItHappen #AdaptedPE #DoWhatsBest
Come learn, de stress, collaborate, network, and so much more with #PhysEd, #HeathEd, & #AdaptedPE teachers from NC & beyond. @CourtneyBField1 @alexpgillis @PEinAction @cmspe225 @ncpe4life @coachwalk @MikeMorrisPE @ArtieKamiya @OPENPhysEd @MillstonePS_PE

For those #physed teachers who have a tv in their gyms…what size tv do you have for your space or recommend if you were to start over? I’m thinking of moving away from a projector set up to possibly two tvs/monitors on opposite sides of the gym. Thanks in advance!
Attended the Catawba County @SONorthCarolina today w/@BallsCreekES & it was a great event! Our teachers, parents, & community leaders love all the athletes & are thankful they were able to shine bright today. @catawbaschools #MakeItHappen #ItsTheKidsThatCount #AdaptedPE
