Only a thought, but for roughly this budget, Britain could actually host the 2031 Summer Games of the Special Olympics (which the country never has done before)

Sublime thrill to walk past Paul Weller on Oxford Street this afternoon. At least, I think it was him. I’m guessing he’d been down in the tube station at midday.

After a glimpse of Estonia’s decathletes - I have no concerns about NATO’s strength. #eurochamps

Does @dan_routledge know, what percentage of currently active basketball players called ‘Johnson’ have at one point signed for Leicester @RidersBball ? It feels like every Johnson except Magic.

It’s rather like a petulant pre-season rugby match with someone’s dad roped in to ref #engvarg

Really, we should all be grateful for the crisis in German football. It may stop Jurgen Klopp doing commercials.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But I THINK I just saw David Beckham in a commercial.

Were these incredible performances at the TCS London Marathon really four weeks ago??? You can still support our 10 #TeamSOGB athletes in their fundraising for our Special Olympics National Summer Games 🔗 bit.ly/4rpd2Yq #InclusionInAction

On my way to the O2 for the play-off finals. Two teams going for quadruples this season and two underdogs standing in their way. Both games on the BBC, share the links around! Sheffield vs. Caledonia: bbc.co.uk/programmes/l00589h… London vs. Cheshire: bbc.co.uk/programmes/l00589h…

So pleased to bring this piece together. Thanks to @Everton and @SOGreatBritain and of course to Jack Grealish. Have wanted to talk to him about disability and sport for many years. Great to do that for @BBCBreakfast with @rasheedspeede
'I think inclusion is a massive part' On #BBCBreakfast footballer Jack Grealish treated some of the 10 Special Olympics GB athletes who completed the London marathon to a VIP tour of Everton's stadium bbc.com/sport/videos/c79r175…

It’s a few decades since I last took part in this…well, the ONE time I took part in this. Madness. But - of course - a Medbourne fan for life.
Since 1770 the village of Hallaton has had an annual Easter Monday battle with locals from the neighbouring village of Medbourne. The day starts with Hare Pie-Scrambling where pieces of pie are blessed and thrown into the crowd, followed by a sport with few rules; Bottle-Kicking.

Hope anyone training for the marathon follows the advice from Angus; crucial sleep! @iamAlexHowell @SarahDawkins23 @Raworthontherun @TimHutchings1
Returning to London 💪 Angus Leckonby will run his second @LondonMarathon on 26 April, as one of 10 #TeamSOGB athletes with intellectual disabilities taking on the 26.2-miles Last year Angus became the Youngest & Fastest Male (II1) to Run a Marathon @GWR #InclusionInAction
