How can someone have a connection with a team they have no links at all … don’t get it in the slightest.

It’s 2026, Rice vs Caicedo isn’t even a conversation anymore … Rice clears in every aspect
Replying to @drsportsmedia
Caicedo has BEEN better than Rice. Better finisher. Better passer. Better vision

No Cole Palmer in England squad. Right call by Thomas Tuchel. There was a lot of talk about Palmer possibly being recalled today to the England squad to face Croatia and Spain. In form for Chelsea, five goals, three assists, undeniable talent etc. Yet what happened in the last extended international break cast a cloud over Palmer. Commitment? Load management? What was going on? Going into the break, Palmer completed 90 minutes for Chelsea against Brentford but was then deemed not fit for England because he was playing with “discomfort and pain”, according to Tuchel. England’s head coach was clearly annoyed, said that Palmer “misses too many opportunities” and that others could seize the chance in Palmer’s absence. While England had four Nations League qualifiers, Palmer had a break and rehab. On resumption of club football, Palmer started Chelsea’s next PL games. His absence from the England squad is good news for Chelsea, of course, he has another break, can focus on them. Will Palmer be missed by England? They have strength in depth at 10. Morgan Rogers, Morgan Gibbs-White, Eberechi Eze and now Josh King with, obviously, Jude Bellingham undisputed first choice. #CFC #ENG

Incredible how this wasn’t even the best moment of the season … such good moments looking back
90+2'. 90+7'. One of the best subs in #PL history, two years ago today against Brentford. 🪄

Sometimes, it can be quite exhausting to read just pure negative comments. Emery is arguably the best manager in the Premier League, and Fulham were 100% the better side in large parts of that second half. That’s down to Arbeloa’s style and tactics. It was incredibly refreshing. Yes, it’s not perfect, yes we haven’t taken big chances, but as Arbeloa said, he would be more worried if we weren’t creating those chances in games. But we are, because we have good, talented and technical players in key areas. A new manager, it’ll always take time to get to the levels he’d want, but to be almost the laughing stock of the league after three games, to looking fairly solid whilst still having that attacking threat is to be commended. Two points won at Anfield and Villa Park, where last season under Silva, we folded like a deck of cards. I’m seeing more positives than negatives with Arbeloa. Up the Fulham. #FFC
I actually think Arbeloa deserves much more credit for turning this around. Post Palace, we were in full on panic mode. Since then, one league defeat in six. But even since the disaster at Ipswich, Fulham have responded incredibly well. The cup game was a disappointment, but I don’t think that was on AA. Let’s be honest, he was probably on the brink of the sack just three weeks ago, but has picked up seven good points, and in my eyes, changed the opinion of most neutrals. I don’t think Fulham fans are completely sold yet, but that second half performance last night was outstanding, in terms of finding ways to attack, stifling Villa’s threats and avoiding defeat. We were rock bottom after Palace in the league, but he re-jigged things, found a balance and we’ve instantly improved. He now has got that key relationship with the fan base, and it looks like everyone is playing for him. Fulham haven’t sacked a manager since 2019, and I’m glad the Khans stuck to their guns, despite the noise. I was of the opinion, he deserves one last chance, the Hull game, he won the game and has picked up another four points. Likeable, approachable and clearly a manager who is finding his feet, and getting results after a really difficult start. #FFC

Some have gone so hard on Arbeloa its a hill they are prepared to die on. Almost to the point where they need him to fail in order to save face. AA is learning on the job and building a bond with the fans. Long may it continue.

Bristol City limbs as they beat Bolton in the 94th minute 😂👏 The Robins were 2-1 down in the 85th minute before completing the turnaround.

After losing our opening 3 games in chaotic fashion, the manager has responded well. 1 loss in 6 PL games, 3 clean sheets, draws away at Liverpool & Villa and built a connection with the fans. Ipswich was his low point, but he has learned and adapted. Positive vibes #UTF

Class effort again from Iwobi. Hits it into row Z from 6 yards out, and Villa break and almost score. But don’t worry, he’s better than Kevin because he couldn’t take a good corner the other night. #FFC
