This is day 4 of the march. The caravan left Tapachula, near the Guatemala border, on October 20. Today's leg covers about 29 to 35 kilometers, and the people walking it aren't heading to Mapastepec to stay. The goal is the United States. Look at the size of that crowd. It's organized, it's moving at night, and it isn't slowing down. The only thing standing between groups like this and American towns is a secure border and agents with the authority to enforce it.
