Healing is not always dramatic. Sometimes it looks like returning to yourself quietly. Sometimes it looks like surviving the week with your spirit still intact.

7 Lessons music taught me that life had to repeat a few times
Music has taught me some things that life had to repeat more than once before I really understood them.

Lesson 7: love all the time, but keep discernment nearby.
Heart without wisdom can get expensive.

What lesson did life have to repeat before it finally landed for you?
I’m listening.

Some songs come from standing in the dark long enough to recognize your own light. That spirit runs through AGYEI.

A lot of people may hear AGYEI as a project.
For me, it’s a little deeper than that.
It’s a body of work about identity, survival, healing and staying rooted through dark seasons.
A thread.

I wanted the music to feel human.
Not like a speech.
Not like a performance of depth.
Just honest enough that somebody else might hear it and feel less alone.

If AGYEI speaks to you, I give thanks.
And if you haven’t heard it yet, maybe this is your moment to spend some time with it.
