Yes, we just need to help them in the right path of what XR is. You can't give people what they want - you have to give people what they need.
"Horizon OS" releases for other hardware vendors - is Meta doing its own Google Android, so to speak?
Big news! Meta has just announced that they're opening up Meta Horizon OS, the operating system powering Quest, to allow others to design more headsets using their ecosystem. Lenovo, Microsoft, and ASUS are among Meta's initial partners. This move could spark a new wave of headsets focused on productivity, entertainment, gaming, exercise and more.

A undocumented feature in Meta Quest v64 found by @Squashi9
After completing a Space Setup scan (or pressing the optional "Add Furniture") it will now try to automatically detect + label planes/objects it sees within the mesh.
A big deal, I'm surprised they didn't mention it!
Is it documented anywhere? 🙂
We're excited to announce the release of Inside-Out Body Tracking, the first vision-based tracking system for mapping out upper body movements with Quest 3, as well as an AI update that generates plausible leg motions for all Quest devices, Generative Legs ocul.us/3tOBpq0
