AVE! Something important happened for me last week: I became part of the @legiondotcc . From here on, I'm putting even more into making TheRepublic better every day! My path here actually started with a complaint. I was frustrated that getting on the whitelist for Legion sales felt out of reach, so I said so. That should have stayed a small post lost in the noise of X. Instead, James saw the post, took the criticism seriously, and left a comment inviting me into TheRepublic. Almost right after joining, I entered the favicon contest and placed second. Because I'd submitted original work instead of AI-generated content, I was then asked to refine the winning design and get it live on TheRepublic's site. There's a real difference between a post getting some likes and seeing your own work sitting in the browser tab. That was the spark: proof that what I was doing actually mattered to someone. Since then, I've tried to stay as active as possible: pitching ideas, reporting bugs, joining raids and other activities. Not many platforms actually listen to their community the way this one does. You say "this is annoying, it'd be great if it worked like this instead," and the next day it's already shipped. Here, what you say actually gets built. By the way, TheRepublic actually solved the exact problem I was complaining about back then, and not just for me. A lot of participants on the platform got the same shot. I landed a spot on the Squidrouter sale , even though demand for Legion was massive: the round was oversubscribed by 2,678% of target. On paper, the odds of landing an allocation like that should've been close to zero. Not with TheRepublic! None of that happens without @James_Gets_It , and I want to say that plainly: Thank you! Seeing how much effort he puts into making TheRepublic better makes me want to match that energy and give something back. Isn't this the foundation of a strong community? I think there's a good stretch of road ahead of us, and it's not just about landing a whitelist spot for the next Legion sale. There's a lot more coming.
