I am so fucking livid right now. Typically I'll have dinner and visit my kids one night during the week (due to schedules/ extracurriculars) and they stay with me every other weekend. Tonight was the only 'free' night this week that both of my kids don't have anything going on, so I talked to their mom yesterday and asked if I could bring dinner over tonight and hang out. She said yes, that'd be great because of how hectic the week is. Both boys had haircuts scheduled after school, so I was making dinner at my place and planned on getting there at 6. I texted them and said what I was planning on bringing (sloppy joes, chips, carrots) and the youngest one said he didn't know if he'd want that. I gave him a couple other options that I could throw together quickly, and told his mom what he said. He then changed his mind and said sloppy joes sounds pretty good. I told his mom (which she was right there with him during this texting conversation), and she said she just fed him. I had JUST finished making everything and putting it in containers to take there. I mean, seriously!!!! I'm still going to take the stuff over there and they can have it for dinner tomorrow night before they have to go to their events (which starts before I could even get there due to work). I am in such a foul mood rn....😖😖😖😖😖
