Trainer @JohnnyMurtagh on @GowranPark1 winner Lord Aus: "He's a tough little horse, he's not very big. His brother won the English Cesarewitch, he's a brother to Alphonse Le Grande. He's a horse that has a big future and he'll probably step up in distance as well."

Trainer @JohnnyMurtagh on @GowranPark1 winner Shanala: "There is a bit of speed in the family so dropping her back today it was the ideal trip. Ben said he got a beautiful run, she quickened up and sustained it right to the line. I'm delighted to get a win out of her."

Trainer @JohnnyMurtagh on @GowranPark1 winner Littlepacer: "She missed the kick in Dundalk and she was back a bit too far. Jessica(Maye) said they went very slow and they sprinted up the straight. She was much more straightforward today. It looked like an ideal opportunity."

Trainer @JohnnyMurtagh on @curraghrace winner Priorstown: "He's a big backward lazy horse that will get better. He's got a bit of a pedigree. Ben said today he travelled well for the first time. The distance and the ground helps. I do think mentally he could be better next year.

“He’s a horse that I thought would progress well from Fairyhouse but a couple of little things didn’t go right for him and he probably needs that kind of set-up, following a fast pace. It’s nice to get him back on track." Ben Coen.
