🇮🇷 Prof. Mohammad Marandi says he has been warned he could personally be TARGETED if another round of assassination strikes begins.
His response: He doesn’t want to leave Iran.
“It’s my responsibility to do what I can to raise awareness, to counter the Western media.”
Marandi says he plans to keep his distance from others and live more secluded, but remain online and accessible.
That is a pretty extraordinary position to knowingly put yourself in.

I spoke with Professor Mohammad Marandi as reports of another American strike on Iran grow increasingly serious.
He believes war is now highly likely, and says Iran's response would be far more destructive than anything we've seen so far.
Not just military bases. Oil facilities, banks, data centers and undersea internet cables could all become targets.
He also warned that Gulf countries helping Washington could face devastating attacks on their critical infrastructure.
But the conversation took a disturbing turn when I asked about his own safety.
Marandi told me he'd received warnings that he could personally be targeted for assassination.
He's currently in China, yet insists on returning to Iran.
I pressed him on why he'd willingly put himself in danger.
He believes it's his responsibility to stay and speak out.
I've strongly criticized Iran's government and the IRGC. But threatening to kill someone for their political views is indefensible.
Whatever happens next, I sincerely hope we aren't about to witness another round of assassinations and a war that could devastate the region.

He believes the West is being deliberately weakened, with the Iran war, Europe's energy crisis and the conflict in Ukraine all contributing to a global shift in power toward China.
His most alarming prediction is that a direct war between Europe and Russia is imminent, followed by a financial collapse that could fundamentally reshape the international system.
But Spöri goes further, suggesting that powerful networks have orchestrated these events for generations.
Those are extraordinary claims, and the interview offers no concrete evidence establishing such coordination.
What was most interesting was the distinction between his theory and the dangers we can actually see.
Europe's energy vulnerabilities are real. A wider confrontation with Russia would be catastrophic.
And the possibility of another major escalation in Iran makes an already unstable situation considerably more dangerous.

Larry Wilkerson, Colin Powell’s former chief of staff, says those commanders can fire on their own for the first 10 to 15 minutes of a war without waiting on Tehran, and that Israel badly underestimates what that means:

Decapitation strikes don’t work against a country that has already wired itself to keep fighting without a head.

Iran has threatened the Gulf’s undersea cables, GPS in the UAE is being scrambled again, Israeli jets have flown to Iran’s border twice, and the West Bank is under lockdown.
With this many signs pointing the same way, there’s very little time left to turn it around.

BREAKING: Iran has drawn up detailed plans to attack the 7 major undersea Internet cables in the Gulf as soon as the US and Israel attack it again, per two senior Iranian officials to Reuters.
Iran says it would aim to prevent repairs after any attack to prolong the disruption to communications and internet connections.
"If Iran is attacked, there will be no more red lines, from undersea cables to military bases, including covert ones." The official warned US not to "play with fire," saying Iran has full access to the cables and could easily destroy them.
More than 99% of international data traffic travels through undersea cables. Iran warned this month that US-linked data centres and AI facilities across the Gulf will also be targeted.

"Jared was looking for shortcuts in his diplomacy. He promised MBZ that he'd push their agenda with Trump if they participated in a fund. He wanted normalization with Israel so that business could take off," a source who knew the arrangement said.
The money was meant to redraw the region's map and lock in normalization with Israel. Roughly $1 billion of it was deposited in Israel's Central Bank for Kushner, with Netanyahu requiring dual-key approval on any transfers.
The two royals initially discussed more than $10 billion for a shared slush fund. That narrowed to roughly $2 billion deposited into accounts Kushner could access, including roughly $750 million at First Abu Dhabi Bank under a UAE charity used as cover for covert operations.
The reveal comes as Kushner is deeply involved in Iran war diplomacy, where Iran has accused him and Steve Witkoff of pocketing $9 billion through market manipulation, using insider knowledge of the talks to trade oil futures, energy stocks, and prediction markets.

He even explains how to check whether a warrant is actually signed by a judge, rather than simply issued by immigration authorities.
Mamdani also reminds residents that NYPD officers do not participate in routine federal civil immigration enforcement and points them toward the city's free immigration legal hotline.
He's promising to protect the RIGHT TO PROTEST, too.
This goes beyond criticizing Trump's immigration crackdown. Mamdani is personally walking New Yorkers through how to exercise their rights when federal agents show up at their doors.
And he's doing it in the language many of the people he's trying to reach speak at home.
