MLB MONDAY (3 FREE PLAYS!) 𝐌𝐄𝐓𝐒 𝐅𝟓 𝐌𝐋 +𝟏𝟔𝟔 (𝟏𝐮) I'm rolling the dice on this one, as this will almost entirely come down to how Robert Stock pitches. In his career resurrection, he has either been a really good or a really bad pitcher, with little in between. IF he ends up being the former today, the Mets will have a really good shot at being up by the fifth inning, as Ian Seymour, on the other end, is likely to give up at least something in the first five innings. Again, to me, this is simply a +166 coin flip. 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐌𝐋 +𝟏𝟒𝟔 (𝟏.𝟓𝐮) This is where we get into the bets that I like a little more than strictly just for value purposes. Let's start with the Mariners, who have suddenly found themselves going from extremely overvalued to kinda undervalued. Boston is going to dominate power rankings, especially based on their crazy rhythm, but they have found themselves in a rare rut, as things changed pretty quickly over the weekend. I think this is a good time to strike while they are scrambling a bit. The pitching matchup can be debated depending on what angle you choose, but I think that Seattle has the edge there. Kirby is the far more experienced and reputable of the two. He got the bad starts out of his system in the past couple of weeks, so I expect another dominant 6-7 inning outing with very little given up tonight. Seattle's offense has been pretty pathetic lately, and I think they are an easy fade in the eyes of many, but this is probably the point where they explode. After four awful games, a change of scenery is definitely nice here, and they are likely well accustomed to the Eastern time zone now. The Mariners are still a potent offense, despite looking like a single-A team at times. If they break out, there's always a good chance they win with a solid pitcher on the mound. I think today is one of those days, as the buildup is going to lead to something big here. 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐱/𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐬 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝟗 (𝟏.𝟓𝐮) This has a tense vibe, and it hasn't even started yet. Both teams are going to be taking the next stretch seriously, as both teams are trying to pull away as division leaders of their respective groups. Anthony Kay and Peter Lambert might be two of the most predictable pitchers right now, as apart from the occasional implosion, they both can be expected to escape almost any start without allowing more than 2-3 runs. This makes bullpen management a little easier too for both managers, and both bullpens have also been quite stable and are fairly rested. With the rosters expanding tomorrow, look for more liberal bullpen management today as well.
