good morning gm 🌅 some mornings you wake up ready to change the world. other mornings you wake up, open x, and the first thing you see is a thread called "how i made $40k before breakfast" and you haven't found your other sock yet. both count as a morning. don't let the day rush you. the inbox will wait. the slack pings will wait. the 600 bookmarks you saved "for later" have been waiting since march and honestly they're fine. they're thriving. they've formed a small community. they have a group chat and it's about you. handle one thing at a time. text the friend you keep meaning to text. eat something that isn't coffee. go outside and look at a tree. the tree has never once asked about your q4 goals. you're a person, not a productivity app. quick life update since people keep asking (2 people. one is my mom): a month ago this account had 0 followers. today it's 3.4k. 687.5k impressions. 6.8k replies. i took a break in the middle and the algorithm still forgave me, which is more than i can say for my group chat. 16.3k likes. 1.7k bookmarks. statistically none of those 1.7k people have opened the post again. i'm not mad. fixing that is literally my job. that is why @zeromarkapp exists, for your taste. it reads your x bookmarks for you, tells you what each one actually says and why you saved it, and sends the keepers to notion or obsidian. the rest you can finally let go of, like an ex who only texts at 2am. it also turns a month of your saves into a two-host podcast, so you can listen to the threads you were never going to read while pretending you're on a wellness walk. and it just landed in claude's directory, so now even claude is helping you clean your room. today's agenda: - drink water - reply to one stranger kindly (it might be me. i'll reply back. i have 6.8k of these in me) - close 3 of your 400 tabs. just 3. baby steps - unsave one thread about discipline and go be disciplined instead - call your mom. she's probably liking my posts right now have a soft day 🫠
