Every high-converting website does 3 things:
Says exactly what you do
Shows who it’s for
Tells you what to do next
That’s it.
No crazy animations. No clever copy.
Clarity converts.
If your website isn’t bringing in customers, it’s not a traffic problem.
It’s a clarity problem.
Most sites try to say everything
and end up saying nothing.
People don’t think. They skim.
If they don’t get it in 5 seconds, they’re gone.
I have been testing a bunch of AI built apps and god they are horrible. Many are completely useless beyond one or two main user flows and if you skip that exact flow they just break.
Let's talk about simplicity a little more. We over building, driving even higher complexity to fucking everything for little to no reason. Keep some shit simple. Please.
I am convinced most x creators that build designs don't actually have any clients or know what clients are looking for. These templates are amazing, but often don't work for clients content or their imagery.
This framer challenge is different. We have building some awesome microsite for a few weeks now and about to drop a few for free. Building up to some paid versions.
Joined the Framer creator program to build micro-sites for service companies.
Everyone’s overbuilding. We’re keeping it simple and built to convert.
Chasing mid five figures. Let’s see.
I’m applying for Season 2 of the @framer challenge with a goal of $10,000 in revenue. Building in public over the next few weeks. framer.com/challenge #FramerChallenge.
Your home service business doesn't need crazy animations. We need to know what you do, how you do it, and how to get a quote. It really is that simple.
Building a startup in this landscape is just different. Especially when it’s a data driven startup. You either build a watered down consumer product that wasn’t what you originally envisioned or you build a specialized tool for a niche with a longer lead time.
I keep seeing cross-posting from Twitter to threads. 🧵 These are not the same platforms; people are looking for something different here than they are there.
