Georgia Republicans continue to deliver meaningful savings at the pump for families, drivers, and businesses across our state!
We remain focused on addressing the cost of living and helping Georgians keep more of their hard-earned money.
I have once again extended the suspension of the state gas tax to provide relief at the pump for hardworking Georgians through the Thanksgiving holiday season. Thank you to our partners in the General Assembly for helping to make this happen through our commitment to conservative budgeting!

We’ll make Georgia a national leader in childhood literacy, raise teacher pay and give them the support they need, strengthen our schools, and value every pathway for students to succeed.
THANK YOU, Springfield! And thank you @JonBurnsGA for joining us yesterday and everything you’re doing for our state. I’m ready to work with you to take Georgia to the next level.
It’s Georgia Pre-K Week, and Dayle and I joined in on the fun this morning by reading to a great group of students in Statesboro.
Setting our children up for success with strong literacy skills is one of the most important things we can do to ensure they have a bright future.
A love of reading starts early, and we’re committed to giving every Georgia child the strong foundation they need to succeed! 📚

Mark your calendars for early voting starting Oct. 13!
Georgia Republicans are continuing to deliver savings at the pump for families, farmers, and businesses when they need it most.
To provide further relief to hardworking Georgians, I am directing the Department of Revenue to suspend the state penalties for the use of dyed diesel on public roads. I am also extending the motor fuel tax suspension through November 5th. I appreciate the support of our partners in the legislature as we keep Georgia workers and families first. gov.georgia.gov/press-releas…

The future of forestry is taking shape right here in Georgia!
I was proud to join @Delta, @GaFarmBureau, @GeorgiaForestry, @CoxEnterprises, and the @atlchamber last week for the launch of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Coalition.
As Georgia’s forestry industry faces unprecedented challenges and market transitions, this partnership is working to secure a strong future for one of our state’s most important industries.
We enjoyed another great day on the road supporting Representatives Bill Yearta, Mike Cheokas, Darlene Taylor, and Gerald Greene yesterday!
We look forward to continuing to work alongside them to keep Georgia moving in the right direction.
Great to be with my friend @ScottHiltonGA last night in Peachtree Corners!
Scott is leading efforts to strengthen education, lower the cost of living, and make life better for the families he represents in House District 48. Let’s make sure he’s back under the Gold Dome in January, continuing to champion common-sense policies for our state!
It was great to be in Alpharetta yesterday with @JanJonesGA, Rep. Chuck Martin, and Jack Miller, an incredible young leader running to represent HD 47.
I look forward to welcoming him to the House and working together to build on the important work being done for our great state.
I was excited to spend the morning in Marietta with Representatives @DevanSeabaugh, Joseph Gullett, and @RepSharonCooper.
They’re doing a great job championing access to healthcare, property tax relief, strong schools, and policies that help Georgia families keep more of what they earn. I look forward to continuing our efforts to build a brighter future for Georgia.
We had a fantastic evening in Buford on the campaign trail with Representatives Sandy Donatucci and Matt Reeves.
Whether it’s cutting insurance premiums, delivering property tax relief, strengthening public safety, or championing early literacy, Sandy and Matt are addressing the issues most important to their communities and making life more affordable for the families they represent.
It was a great morning in Athens with candidates for the Georgia House, Dutch Guest and Ward Black, and Georgia’s next Congressman from the 10th, Houston Gaines.
We need strong, common-sense leaders who will protect our values and work to keep Georgia moving forward. That’s why I hope you’ll join me in supporting Dutch, Ward, and Houston as they work to serve their fellow Georgians.
Honored to recognize my colleague and dear friend, Terry England, today.
Terry’s leadership has built a brighter future for Georgia, and our state is incredibly grateful for his continued commitment to serving his neighbors.
House Republicans are proud to join Governor Kemp in delivering direct relief to families and job creators when and where they need it most.
Over the last few years, we’ve partnered with the General Assembly to provide billions of dollars of relief for hardworking Georgians. Today, I’m again suspending the state gas tax to help families and small businesses at the pump.
