Was tough being in the country but not being able to go to London last weekend - really looking forward (fingers crossed) to a second trip to the UK next month and playing at the amazing @TheNmbrlandClub again!

Entries remain open for both the East Anglian Open in Norwich (August 22nd) and Northumberland Open in Jesmond (September 12th). It would be great to see more entries for both events from both regular players and anyone wanting to give this great sport a try, all warmly welcomed

The tactics of @TalkTalk to stop people cancelling their contracts are quite frankly pathetic. Day 1 - ‘Cancellation is not possible today’ Day 2, Call 1 - operator switched and then hung up.

Day 2, Call 2 - Unintelligible sounds from their end so had to end call. Day 2, Call 3 - repeat of Call 1. Day 2, Call 4 - slow, painful, but in the end got there. Thanks @TalkTalk for the wasted 45 minutes.

Up and down finale to my @UKracketlon year after a cancelled train, a peak performance win and then an ignominious end with a Berlin Bug style forfeit in my last match... 🤢 Fantastic event by @andyrwilson20, @RacketRoss and family however - a big thanks for all the hard work!
