Can AI automate HF adjudication in global clinical trials?
Our latest #AHA2024 SimPub @CircHF
In the DELIVER trial, our AI model for HF hosp was

An editorial by @HashemZikry @latimes @counselheatlh calling for more regulation of AI for patient use.
Yes, there is "the staggering weight of unmet medical need," 1/3 Americans are using it to "diagnose symptoms and direct care," and states are moving in different directions.
But the core problem now is lack of compelling proof of efficacy and safety, not the FDA.

@CVCTForum is the best scientific meeting I have attended 🙌🏻 thanks @ZannadFaiez for the invitation!
Great to catch up with @scottdsolomon & entourage
Team #STRONG@HOME was well represented 😁- and the trial was highly relevant as digital care/ AI in CRM was the main topic
Thanks to hosts @DrMerkely & @KosztinMd for inviting me to speak at the Semmelweis University Symposium in Budapest on AI in cardiovascular care
Enjoyed speaking with members of the Hungarian cardiology community and global colleagues like @NirUrielMD

Delighted to have shared the results of ENVAD-HF as late-breaking science at #ESCCongress: 1st prospective RCT of #HeartFailure #GDMT #sacval in #LVADs:
-numerically less primary outcome (death, ⬇️ renal fn, hypotn and hyperK)
-safe, feasible, well tolerated
-improved PROs
ENVAD-HF, a prospective RCT in stable HM3 #LVAD recipients, shows angiotensin–neprilysin inhibition is safe and well-tolerated, paving the way for trials of #HF therapies in this population. jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.jchf.…

In a large individually randomized trial embedded in routine care across a national U.S. health system, a cardiovascular-focused nudge intervention did not increase influenza vaccination rates on a background of low-uptake. Full trial results: eviden.cc/4mo2PZP #ESCCongress

![“[KP-VACCINATE] is an excellent example of a pragmatic, population-wide nudge trial delivered through existing and widely available EHR technologies.”
