Couldn't find a 5e stat block for the Twrch Trwyth, one of Wales' finest monsters, so I thought I'd have a crack. Since it's basically unkillable, I started with a tarrasque and went from there.

My favourite thing about Mahonia is how the new growth makes the plant look like it was self-seeded into the garden via meteorite.
As a new DM, I wanted to make a mimic enounter interesting for a couple of vet gamers. I liked the thought of them cautiously putting an arrow in a chest from a distance, only for it to sprout legs and sprint at them.
Didn't go according to plan of course but it was a nice idea.
