What really gets me is that the AI shot is completely unnecessary. If you remove that shot, you can still understand perfectly fine that the soldier shot Godzilla with the rocket. It reeks of a last min addition made after some dumb exec complained that it wasn't clear enough

Toho used Generative AI for one shot of a croud funded campaign about celebrating Godzilla’s history with practical effects. This time is even more egregious. Last year they did it for background buildings. To say I’m disappointed is immeasurable. So much effort to be tainted.
