Sign of a good side?... whatever it is, so valuable picking up these points without 3 nailed on starters prior to injury

That shit giveaway from Joel midweek has completely removed any short pass into midfield from his options. We are setting up for him to bait a press (that isn't coming) and he's then completely refusing to then pass into midfield

Nowhere near good enough from Joel and LR has to either getting him playing it or abandon the setup and go longer quicker because ATM Joel is completely preventing us from building possession

You'll never please everyone but for AFC Rushden & Diamonds the £50,000 TV money was everything. To get this far in the FA Cup, draw a League One side away from and miss out on live TV coverage for the pull of Robbie Savage vs Charlie Savage is a bit shit.

Savage cameo was pretty embarrassing tbh best for both if he moves on in the winter

Not the first time I'm walking away from a game just a bit confused. We were poor and given it's bottom of the table Wigan isn't annoying not to win and comfortably. But even poor we created more than enough to go and win that. # of shots swaying that a bit but 4/5 GOOD chances

how many fouls does Saydee have to give away in his 10mins on the pitch to get a yellow ffs

created enough to get a goal or more today

God, if this was a youth keeper we'd say he's not ready and needs to head to NL for a loan...

also are we SURE we want to play Masterson on the left of this CB pair?...

hard to be too frustrated because it is exactly what we are using this comp for but... boy do do the guys lacking game time look short of match practice. So sloppy and making poor choices all of over the pitch

That performance, result and scoreline yesterday very well timed with the murmurings around Marriott/Earthy injuries derailing the good start. Should bring confidence to fans and players about this squad. We have a lot more routes to goal than we had last season

Even amongst a poor MK, I thought there were some really strong performances out there today. Stokes pressing brilliantly and lovely to see some end product. Paudie dominant, Reid was great and nice to see Wingy enjoying his football again

that XI reaffirms what I'd previously suspected, LR likes flexibility on his bench. Stokes hasn't been making the matchday squad but is still clearly no.2 CAM even though Williams and Brown have had spells there off the bench.

Brown/Williams cover multiple spots so more valuable than Stokes on his bench. Personally I would try to find a way to get Stokes on the bench even as a specialist but then you are probably dropping one of Brown or Reid. Tough choices

Interested to follow how he gets on. Injury likely disrupted us being more intentional about where we landed him next (+ruled out L2). Played in quite an unusual setup at FGR and largely did well, keen to see him play for a team punching above their weight, might learn more
