The reason why i thought Mamu startin at PF couldve worked was for games like this where teams with size could dominate us on the glass. We dont match up well with certain teams that run double big lineups to start. Cavs, Jazz, OKC, Wizards, Magic, Heat, & Rockets gone be tough

This is the right approach and when guys are locked into longterm deals, stuff like this doesnt matter if the team is having success. He's gonna get his no matter wut

🚨 Quinton Grimes on starting or coming off the bench “It’s been great. No matter what, whoever starts, whoever comes off the bench, we got a great group of guys that just want to win. We want to compete, we want to win. Everybody knows our roles on the team, that’s been clear since day one. So it doesn’t matter who starts or comes off the bench. We’re just trying to rack up wins.”

I’m noticing a trend here. The Lakers have struggled defensively to start games but have been DOMINANT coming out of halftime. Third quarter scoring through the first two games: vs. Warriors: 36-16 vs. Clippers: 39-26 That’s a combined 75-42 advantage coming out of halftime. What’s interesting is that both teams scored 30+ in the opening quarter before the Lakers completely changed the momentum after halftime. Interesting… Let’s see what happens here

As per the Lakers, Luka's 52 pts today was his 10th career 50-pt game (3rd as a Laker) to tie Kareem for 11th-most in NBA history. He is the 1st Laker since 1963 with at least 50 pts & 10 assists in a game. Luka Dončić, Elgin Baylor & Jerry West are the only Lakers to do this.

I hate the “style win” police Losses to sub .500’s eventually sting Same clowns who try to assign style points for wins will be the same fools wanting their favorite teams to beat the Lakers
