After 20 years, my time at Blackburn Rovers has come to an end. From joining the academy at 6 years old to go on to play 170 times for the club, it has been an incredible journeyโฆ

As the transfer rumours and hype start to mount up, please remember that it is highly likely your club has some fantastic talent in their Academy who just need to be given a chance. New signings can be great but nothing beats one of your local boys living their dream at your club
From the beaches of Marbella, streets of North & East London to gruellingly hot rooftop gyms in Shanghai, Vietnam & Malta we got there ๐โโ๏ธ.
Massive thanks to all those who ran with me at any point.
What are your goals for 2025?
What strategies do you have to stay locked in?

I think one of the most telling attributes of an effective leader is that they bring out the best in those they lead. Imagine what a staff can do when they feel valued and confident!

Today marks 86 months since 72 died at Grenfell and 3 weeks until the Phase 2 Inquiry Report is released.
From that report we expect to see the Truth.
We expect to see Accountability.
We expect to see Consequences.
And then we expect to see Charges.
Do not fail us.
Here we go again!
Cracking start last night, wishing all the very best to John and his staff, as well as my friends and colleagues @LutonTown & @LincolnCity_FC for the season ahead.
A continued privilege to be supporting players & staff @Rovers for my 16th season in Academy โฝ๏ธ

What a thought from the main man ๐ง .
For those lucky enough to work with developing or performance athletes this week - go after enjoyment, catch players in, praise effort and work ethic, co-create, listen and guide to new solutions.

Really enjoyable off-season coaching children from all over the ๐ in ๐จ๐ณ & ๐ป๐ณ. A nice reminder of the importance of connection, communication and collaboration when working with children & developing athletes.
Thanks for the memories and opportunity @n50sjj & @DanStubberfield โฝ๏ธ
