Excited and honored to share that AxioRyx has been accepted into Phase 2 of the #StartupTexas Emerging Industries Accelerator, hosted by the UTRGV Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Center at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, in partnership with the Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation (BCIC)!
This next phase is an opportunity to sharpen our strategy, deepen our understanding of customer needs, and build a stronger foundation alongside founders shaping the next generation of Texas companies.
Our AI-powered platform, #SentinelAI, brings information from existing security systems together to deliver real-time situational awareness. By adding layers of analysis and validation, it helps teams recognize potential threats sooner, understand unfolding events, and respond faster.
Grateful for the mentorship, connections, and momentum this Texas innovation ecosystem provides.
If you’re building a startup, investing in emerging technologies, or exploring the future of AI in safety and security, I’d love to connect!

Great energy, valuable insights, and a room full of founders turning ideas into action!
Had the privilege of joining fellow founders in the 2026 #StartupTexas Emerging Industries Accelerator for an insightful session led by @DrLuisEMartinez .
Today’s deep dive into Customer Discovery and Problem Definition reinforced a critical lesson: building a strong business starts with understanding your customers. That means asking better questions, challenging assumptions, and identifying problems that matter enough for people to invest in a solution.
Grateful for the mentorship and the momentum we’re building together. Excited to put these lessons into action as we move forward through Phase Two!

Big short dude is correct. The Ai apocalypse is actually for the Ai datacenter business (nobody else) where their big bets are going to blow up, because local models are nearly as good, free, and getting better. Tech bros F’d up badly … now they use fear. Not nice.
Big Short investor Steve Eisman says the AI labs know they have no moats and are manufacturing a crisis to get regulation that hands them a duopoly
"I think this is all nonsense."
[ You think it's all nonsense? ]
"All nonsense. I think that there's something else completely going on here. ... What I think is happening is that token maxing is over. The open weight models are taking big market share. I think these companies are very nervous. They realize that there are no moats around their business whatsoever, and they're trying to manufacture a crisis that will create regulation, and that they think they can then manipulate to create the moats, to create the duopoly that they want."
[ Wow. ]
"That's what I think is going on."
"Honestly, I think this whole Terminator thing is garbage. That's for sure."

Starbucks employees expose that Starbucks is using “blending powder” in many of their newer drinks
This new powder was just introduced this month. If you drink Starbucks you should be concerned about this
This “blending powder” consists of Gum arabic, maltodextrin, xanthan gum, natural flavor, silica and stevia extract (rebaudioside-A)
The reason they use it is because it acts as an emulsifier and stabilizer
The gums and other components create a smoother, more consistent frozen blended texture and slows separation that would otherwise happen soon after the drink leaves the blender
Starbucks employees have been making videos saying it makes their throats hurt, makes them cough and makes their head hurt
The silica is silicon dioxide and acts as an anti-caking agent. This is a very controversial ingredient for health concerns
But it’s also a concern for these Starbucks employees because inhaling it is dangerous
Fine silica dust can become airborne when the powder is scooped. Prolonged or repeated inhalation of certain forms of silica is linked to serious lung conditions like silicosis
This should not be put in drinks we consume
Our food is a science experiment
‘Starbucks Workers United and individual baristas have publicly raised concerns since the powder’s introduction around mid-July 2026. Reports include the powder becoming airborne easily, along with some partners mentioning symptoms like sore throats, coughing, or chest irritation’

BREAKING: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City, holding a banner from the skyscraper's antenna reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace."
As of now it's unclear how the pair reached the top of the building as police work to get them down from the spire, 1,454 feet above the ground.

Bodycam footage just came out of a farmer speaking against a planned data center, being handcuffed at a city council meeting for going a few seconds over the 3-minute public comment limit.
Darren Blanchard was speaking in Claremore, Oklahoma when two officers told him to leave, followed him to the front as he tried to hand documents to the council, and cuffed him as the crowd booed. He's charged with criminal trespass, a $200 offense, and is fighting it as retaliatory.
The case has become a marker for the wider fight over data center construction, where residents increasingly clash with developers over water, power, utility rates and farmland. Blanchard's sharpest point is about democracy itself: if attending a public meeting can get you cuffed, the chilling effect reaches well beyond one Oklahoma town.
