The first of many Pgh music festival submission windows has opened, and I can't emphasize enough that I'd rather get paid "$2 for every ticket sold" than be stuck in the corner of a stage-less bar while organizers main-stage their buddies and send me a $25 check a month later.

Aaaaah man…this still makes my blood boil! The 2011 season was the start of a spark of something special …something that is. Special, however in its own way.
You can tell when Ellwood has some of shittiest roads in the county, when every tire pump at every gas station in town, is out of order.
I’m so overwhelmed with emotion waking up to the tragic news about Taylor Hawkins. He was the epitome of heart and soul to the Foo Fighters. Taylor is that kind of guy that you wanted playing in your band. My heart along with millions of others are broken today.
Yes. I know…it’s only going to be warm for two days in Pittsburgh but talk about that feeling when you pull the golf clubs up from the basement…it’s like pure joy when getting the Christmas tree back out.
One of those Friday morning commutes where ya listen to one band and holy moly...I totally forgot how many hits Bad Company had! “...I’m running with the pack” ....”give me silver blue and gold”. #deepcuts
