Just like two years ago when the voters said loudly cost of living and affordability are their driving concerns and ushered in a GOP victory, they said so again last night across the country. Democrats didn’t listen in 2022, Republicans didn’t listen in 2024 and the voters punished Republicans for it. This was without question a blue tsunami.
But as I told my Democrat friends two years ago, I say now to my Republican friends, the sun still rose this morning. The country is not over. Cherish your loved ones, take care of your self. Our nation has endured a civil war, two world wars and many dramatic elections. Election 2026 is not the savior of the country, nor is it the ending of the country.
I know this might be hard to believe, but your preferred cable news station, and media outlets thrive off your over reactions, both positive and negative. Reality is always somewhere else then what Fox, CNN, MSNOW, Newsmax or your paper says it is. Social media is even worse.
Life will go on. Choose to be happy, choose to be healthy, and choose to do good in the world. Imagine if we all individually did that, what a world of difference it would make.
I have been trying my hardest to be quiet about politics lately….
But public executions are something our enemies do.
This is a very bad decision that lowers us to our enemies standards in my opinion.

The House has passed the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 by a vote of 262–159, sending the legislation forward after the Senate previously approved it.
The bill imposes additional sanctions related to Russia and Iran and includes provisions allowing tariffs of up to 100% on certain countries purchasing Russian energy. The House vote was on concurrence with the Senate’s amendments to H.R. 5334.
The measure now heads to President Donald J. Trump's desk for his signature.

This is our chance to stand on the right side of history, support Ukraine & make clear we oppose Russia’s invasion & its dictator. We’re using our Article I authority to put tough tariffs on Russia, the invader. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of good.

Thank you to every member of the U.S. Congress who voted today for new sanctions against Russia over its criminal, endlessly dirty and insane war of annihilation against Ukraine.
Here in Ukraine, despite everything, we hold on to a good hope for goodness, justice, and reason. And tonight reminds us once again: none of this is in vain. The free world is alive.

I’ve worked the entire 119th Congress to get results for supporting Ukraine and opposing Putin. We scored results tonight. Congress voted for tough sanctions on the invader and war crimes dictator.

Happy 90th🎂 in Heaven to my hero & former boss, Senator John McCain! It was the privilege of a lifetime working with this true American Hero. ❤️ A great read about his days in captivity. The same courage & grit he fought with for America until the very end. ❤️

Some people make decisions after they stick their finger in the air and see which way the wind is blowing. It’s better to carry a moral compass and pursue truth, decency and noble goals. Disregard the echo chamber. The flute players will lead you off the cliff.
Facts… but I’ll have my buddy @TomLackey36 to sit next to me on this roller coaster we call the Green and Gold. 🫡
