One of the most interesting things that I've seen at AWE has been Ultraleap's hand gesture tracking using "event cameras". Read everything about it in my latest blog article!

Mosquitoes must be ~12days old to transmit #malaria. The parasites take this long t mature inside th bugs

I’m still trying to get action on PM’s systematic lying in parliament
The BBC asks whether people care about it
Please RT if you do
Alastair Campbell - “Peter Stefanovic’s video has had 12 million views. Every day he asks BBC why will you not play these clips of Johnson in Parliament lying at dispatch box. PM’s are meant to resign if they lie at dispatch box”
BBC interviewer “Do people care?”
YES @BBCNews

How about this: MPs aren't allowed to earn any other income apart from their salary. No seats on boards. No consulting. No lobbying. No shares. No second property. If you want to represent the people, you work at one job. If you don't like it, make way for someone more worthwhile

Wow. That is quite blatant.

This rapidly needs fixing as many people living as couples have complete independence over their finances.
In my latest for @bbcthree I found that rejected universal credit claims - due to living with a partner that's earning - are leaving some young couples vulnerable.

We love the NHS, they said.
NHS staff are heroes, they said.
NHS forever, they said.
All the whole quietly siphoning huge tranches of NHS care into US corporate hands.
