713 days ago, the Cincinnati Bengals celebrated beating the Bills in the Divisional Round by declaring how excited they were to go to “Burrowhead” for the AFCCG.
Since that moment, they’re 18-17 overall, 0-3 vs KC & have missed the playoffs twice.
KC, is going for a 3-pete.

So, I've been thinking a lot about that viral Patrick Mahomes interceptions overturned by penalty statistic from the weekend. It felt like a bad-faith use of data. I went and took a closer look to see if that was true. 🧵
That puppet is undefeated in your stadium, Raiders. Keep stoking the fire of competition. Oct 27th, Chiefs by 20 in Arrowhead West.

For some context on how bad this has been for the Chiefs, consider this: They had -18 yards in 1st quarter. That’s the worst for any NFL team since the Chiefs in 2011 against Jets. Chiefs were QBed that day by Tyler Palko and coached by Todd Haley. Haley was fired the next day.

Worst Chiefs game since the Titans game in ‘21, and maybe worse than that one. Not really sure. Truly incomprehensibly bad performance.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Chiefs had more yards, far more passing yards, more first downs, more yards per play, allowed fewer sacks, had fewer turnovers, won time of possession but yea, it was the refs. Damn refs. Always against the Bengals.
How, on a high ankle sprain, is this man running 20% faster than he every has in a playoff game? The greatness of PM15 is simply incredible to watch.

On the game's final play from scrimmage, Patrick Mahomes reached a top speed of 18.14 mph on his 5-yard scramble run, his fastest speed reached on any play this postseason. His previous high was 14.87 mph.
