THE THREAD OF THREADS 🧵

Aquarius risings: Saturn rules your 1st house and your 12th.
Your sense of direction and the life you lead away from public view share a ruler.
Saturn’s condition can help explain how solitude and self-definition relate in your chart.
Aquarius risings have one of the most beautiful connections between material security, home, and spiritual meaning.
Pisces 2H, Taurus 4H, Libra 9H.
Venus rules their 4H and 9H, and is exalted in their 2H.
Their possessions, resources, and personal values (2H), their home and family foundations (4H), and their beliefs, philosophy, and experiences of distant places (9H) are all linked through Venus.
They may be drawn to creating a life that feels beautiful in a very personal way. A home full of meaningful objects, traditions gathered from different places, or a way of living that reflects what they genuinely believe. Comfort becomes something deeper when it expresses their values.
Aquarius is often described as detached from ordinary human concerns. Meanwhile, Venus connects some of the most intimate questions of belonging, value, and meaning in their chart.
What's a pleasure you used to allow yourself as a child that adulthood quietly persuaded you was frivolous?
Astrologers need to understand that their words can profoundly affect people’s lives.
When you make absolute declarations like this, you risk teaching people to fear their own birth charts and, by extension, their own futures.
Astrology should empower people to navigate life, not make them afraid to live it. Human life is sacred. Treat it accordingly.

The collective silence from the astrology community under Israel’s Mercury retrograde tweet is SENDING ME LOOOOOL
avoiding it like the plague
In traditional astrology, Venus rejoices in the 5th house, the place of pleasure and good fortune. The planet of desire doesn't have to be reduced to romantic partnership. Art, play and delight deserve their own room in the chart.

This is uncanny because what was happening to me that October - April, literally just started again.
🌙 Today’s Taurus Full Moon falls within about 2° of the Taurus lunar eclipse of October 2023.
Go back to that period. What was happening in your life between October 2023 and April 2024, particularly concerning the house Taurus occupies in your birth chart?
Something connected to that period could resurface over the next three to six months.
Remember, Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is retrograde. The past may return in some form.
Whether that’s good or bad depends on your individual chart. Tell me your moon sign and house below 👇
With Taurus rising and a Sagittarius Moon in the eighth, emotional security can become closely tied to what happens between you and another person. Shared finances may carry more emotional weight than the numbers suggest. You may need considerable honesty in intimacy, because understanding what you are entering into helps you choose how deeply to invest yourself.
The Moon also rules your third house, so uncertainty around a shared commitment can occupy a lot of everyday thought. Your Sagittarius Moon wants to understand the larger meaning of an experience and see a way forward. Being able to discuss a difficult subject openly may help you feel that you have choices within a situation that previously felt consuming.
This Taurus Full Moon falls in your first house, opposite your seventh, highlighting how your own needs fit within an important relationship. Revisit October 2023 to April 2024 for changes in how you saw yourself or what you agreed to share. Venus, your chart ruler, is retrograde in your sixth: the division of everyday work may be part of what now needs reconsidering.
Need clarity about one area of your life? Ask me anything. I’ll study your birth chart in depth to explore what opportunities may arise, when to look for them and how to approach them.
This is a one-off reading I won’t offer again.

Damn the Taurus full moon is hitting my Venus and many other placements within less than one degree in my chart. Explains a lot about how I’m feeling right now:
Understanding a difficult planetary placement doesn’t always settle the question of how to live with it.
This is one reason I study traditional astrological remedies.
The practice should emerge from the individual’s chart and the actual condition of the planet involved.
Capricorn risings have one of the most internationally oriented charts you can imagine.
Pisces 3H, Virgo 9H, Sagittarius 12H, Cancer 7H.
Jupiter rules their 3H and 12H, and is exalted in their 7H. Mercury rules their 9H, where it also has its exaltation.
Their communication and immediate surroundings (3H), their experiences of foreign cultures, travel, and higher learning (9H), their encounters with distant or unfamiliar worlds (12H), and their relationships with other people (7H) are connected through Jupiter and Mercury.
There is something especially interesting about how strongly this chart emphasises learning from people whose experiences differ from their own. Relationships can introduce them to unfamiliar cultures, languages, philosophies, and ways of living. Conversations with people from elsewhere may profoundly change how they understand themselves and the world.
I think Capricorn risings should make a deliberate effort to meet international people, learn languages, travel when possible, and maintain relationships beyond their immediate environment. Their lives can become extraordinarily rich when they refuse to let the world they grew up in become the limit of the world they know.

Retrograde Venus returns to Libra today, one of the signs she rules. Domicile gives a planet resources to act on its own terms; it doesn't erase the questions raised by retrograde motion. We can revisit fairness without pretending an old imbalance never happened.
Mercury turned retrograde at 20° Scorpio. Mars enters its shadow at 20° Leo on 5 November, right on August 12th’s Solar eclipse degree.
It raises a question: do you still want what began then, or have its demands changed what you’re willing to give?
Here’s where this lands for your rising sign:
