JISD sent off @JoshuaOwlXC to compete at the Region Meet! The races will be at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on October 27. The girls' race kicks off at 9 a.m., followed by the boys' at 9:30 a.m. This is the second year in a row both squads have made it to Lubbock. #RiseAsChampions
Monday, October 26, is a non-instructional Monday and OWL Camp day. OWL Camp is at Staples Elementary.

After an outstanding performance at the District 8-5A Meet, the Joshua High School Cross Country team will send both varsity boys and girls squads to the Regional Meet!
The varsity girls placed 2nd, behind a District Champion run by Lyndie Freeman and a 5th-place performance from Chloe Griswell. The junior varsity girls placed 4th. On the boys' side, both varsity and junior varsity placed 3rd, with Julian Duran coming in 8th in the varsity race.
The Region contest will take place in Lubbock in less than two weeks. This is the second year in a row both squads have made it to Lubbock. This is the first time in school history that the boys team will compete at Regionals four years in a row.
