Last Friday we dropped game 2 of our best of 3 series to the Regina River Rats by a score of 5-3. Despite a 3rd period push we could not come all the way back. Even though our season ended so abruptly we have a lot of positives to look back on.
This was the 2nd season for our franchise and we are proud of the improvements that we made on and off the ice. A big thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, fans, coaches, and players.
Donald cuts into the lead early in the 2nd, but Regina would answer back with 2 more. Down 6-2 headed into the 3rd.
Wilker opens the scoring on the pp but Regina answers with 4 unanswered to put us in a hole after the 1st.

A big 3rd period and we come out on top 9-7 to finish off the regular season. Goals in the 3rd from Wood, C. Flahr (Hat Trick), and Bracken x 2 (1 Empty Netter). Playoffs coming up!
Good start here in Caronport. C. Flahr x 2, Dejaegher, Wirth (Short handed), and Wood with goals in the 1st.
Dejaegher gets an early goal, but there would be no more scoring. We drop this one 7-3. Big one tomorrow night in Caronport.
